We recently stayed at The Dandy Hotel in Taipei and we were really impressed! Despite being a 3-star hotel, the service was definitely at a 4-star level. The staff went above and beyond – they even gave us a courtesy call for checkout time without us asking, and were super flexible with storing our bags before and after our stay. The room itself was a pleasant surprise. It was much bigger than what you typically get in Taipei, and spotlessly clean. The bed was really comfortable and we slept great – it was nice and quiet too. The bathroom was a highlight with amazing shower pressure and lovely lemongrass-scented toiletries. Just a heads up though – the shower is over the bath, which was quite narrow. There's a handrail to help you get in and out, but it might be tricky for older travelers. One thing I loved was being able to open the window for fresh air, though don't expect any views. The location was really convenient, just a short walk to the station. Breakfast was pretty average overall, but they did have some nice cakes. Oh, and if you're looking for last-minute gifts, they have some cute items like soaps and keyrings at reception – really came in handy for me! The only real downside was the breakfast not being anything special, but honestly, everything else made up for it. The fantastic service, clean and comfortable room, and convenient location make this place a gem. I'll definitely be staying here again next time I'm in Taipei!

Lots of cheap local food options just around the hotel. Easy access to taipei main station within 5min walk. The bedding is so comfortable. Shower room is surprisingly spacious for a small room and the water jet is strong. Almost everything is perfect.

Vey close to the right side of Taipei Main station for international guests. The shower water pressure was great. While the hotel is old and smells it, it is kept qute clean. Luggage storage facility. Given you're only allowed to check in so late and check out early (they even called at a quarter to check out time to remind you to check out), having somewhere to store your luggage is a godsend, though expected of a 4* hotel

The location is diagonally across the taipei main station junction, near McDonald's. There is plenty of food available just outside the hotel. The hotel lobby is on level 2 of the building. There are no amenities provided, except for bath towels n shampoo/shower gel. Water can be taken from the water dispenser in the lobby. Slippers n premix beverage are available at the lobby. Bed is comfy. Sufficient space for walking n luggage in room.

The location is nearer to the Taipei main station. The property is very well organized & designed for a family vacation. The staff is friendly. Every day from 2-4 pm, they offer free snacks in addition to free snacks at the wheel. Comfy beds, well-designed room, musical mirror, cozy lighting.... it was the perfect stay! Thank you, Roaders Plus Hotel - Theme, for making our Taiwan holidays so amazing!
