Wide, bright and full of comforts room with an amazing view on 'the never sleeping' New York. Indeed many lights up from small windows all around during the night for a wonderful 'panorama'... A lively night brightened up by the top Wallace lounge bar with excellent live music by great artists and a very kind and available service and personnel both at the door and inside in the lounge (a special mention to Angie <3) TOP HOTEL HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

I have never had the opportunity to live in such a luxurious hotel before. It's a fantastic place: close to 5th Avenue and Central Park. Life here is bustling. The room is very spacious and large, and it had everything I needed. Additionally, they kindly provided me with an adapter. The view from the window was magnificent: we were staying on the 15th floor. Housekeeping was done every day.

I thought a midnight stroll through Central Park would be peaceful… maybe even magical. I was so wrong. The park was dark, empty, and straight-up creepy. I tried to convince myself it was fine — until I saw a rat. Not just any rat. This thing was the size of a cat, casually scurrying like it owned the place. I froze. Then I saw another. And another. At that point, I sat down on a bench to gather my courage… but every sound made me jump. It felt like I was in a horror movie. I was convinced I’d either get mugged or dragged off by a mutant rat army. I booked it out of there so fast, I didn’t even look back. Central Park might be lovely during the day, but at midnight? It's a no from me.

Loved our horse and carriage ride through Central Park. This was a fabulous way to see a lot of the areas in as short a time as possible. Some beautiful fountains and architecture throughout this park and we loved our time there.

Nice. Be prepared to stay the day to experience it all. We started our day with a horse carriage ride throught the park to get our bearings. Ate Lunch at Tavern on the Green--must call and make reservations! You can also go to their website to purchace gift card! Rode the old carasol, went to the Central Park Zoo, Strawberry fields, the Home Alone Tunnel, ventured over to see the Plaza Hotel and the famous toy store, walked to the Natural History Museum. You can also walk to the Mtropolitan Museum of Art! Would have loved to have more time to rent a bike--would have been fun. It's huge and would take a day to truely enjoy--lots of walking.

Central Park is a wonderful place to get away from the hustle and bustle of New York city. Located smack in the middle of the city you can explore and enjoy so many outdoor activities like the Zoo, ice skating, Belvedere Castle, Playgrounds for children, running, reading and even people watching is a thing.

Book the horse and cart ride with the group that have a team waiting on a line to the left as you base the park, they will take 5 people and it’s cheaper. They people that bombard you say 4 max so if there are 5 you have to get w carts… this is not the case. Was nice to be shown a route round, be informed of the local landmark and then walk round a different route to see them again on our ouwn time. It’s worth going to the visitor centre for a map.

The hotel was in a great location, with a quick walk to the F train which goes to key attractions like Times Square, Rockefeller Center, and Central Park. There were convenient shopping locations nearby for water and other essentials. The price was great for Manhattan. I enjoyed the uniqueness of Chinatown vs other more central, tourist locations. The room was pretty quiet. Staff was friendly and facilities were pretty clean.

Location very good. Easy walk along 6th Avenue to Central Park, close to Bryant Park subway stop. Plenty of places to eat and drink. Whole foods market a couple blocks away. Hotel rooms refurbished, not large but comfortable

The best thing about this hotel is its location — on 59th St, right by Central Park. It’s not only extremely well connected but also as pleasant as Midtown gets. I’ve spent a lot of time in New York over the years, and I can safely say this is one of the best spots I’ve ever stayed in. I had a smile on my face every time I stepped out of the hotel and saw the Park in front of me.

Note: this isn’t really a hotel, more of a hostel/college dorm situation. Be aware of that before booking. Incredible location right next to Central Park. A few minutes from a subway stop and only a 20 minute walk into Times Square. Room was clean, small but good enough Great view over to Central Park Really good value for money, and it’s nice to support a nonprofit. Only comparably priced hotels were in New Jersey or Long Island which are far from the attractions.

We loved out stay in Riverside Tower Hotel. From the very beginning it was such a fantastic experience. We were accommodated early before the standard check in time which allowed us to get the day going. The room was perfect. It was spacious, clean, with great New York surrounding views. Location was exceptional with close proximity to cafes, food, Central Park and public transport. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Couldn’t wish for anything more.

The staff were pleasant and helpful at all times. The location is excellent for exploring New York — there’s a bike path right behind the hotel along the Hudson River, and you can reach Central Park or the Empire State Building by bike in no time. There are plenty of great restaurants and bars nearby. The room was surprisingly spacious, and we were upgraded to the 12th floor with an amazing city view at no extra charge. I can highly recommend this hotel. If we visit New York again, we’ll definitely stay here.

This place made us feel like we lived in New York City! It’s comfortable, close to the subway, Central Park, good restaurants, and the guys at the 24-hour deli on the corner are very friendly! Plus, the apartment staff are super attentive and helpful! They care about their guests and offer support. They helped me a lot with a problem I had with a package, they are really caring people! Looking foward to come back!!!

Lovely rooms and very spacious. Super comfy beds! Bathrooms are great and everything very clean. This feels like a traditional New York luxury hotel, and the kids loved being so high - we were on 31st floor! Great location, it's only 10 minutes walk to Central Park, Times Square or Broadway theatres and the subway links are great and easy from there. Staff were very friendly and Randolph's Bar is a great place to start your evening or end a day of sightseeing. Loads of restaurants within easy walking distance. Highly recommend.

Very good hotel! The location is excellent — right at Times Square, just a few blocks from Central Park, and within walking distance to the Empire State Building, Summit One, and Rockefeller Center. The breakfast was very good, with a nice buffet. The staff was very kind and helpful . The elevators can take a bit longer at times, but that’s expected in such tall buildings. The room is not big, but that’s normal for New York. Overall, a great stay and perfect location for exploring the city!

Don't forget to pack your comfy shoes or trainers this is the best place to explore on foot and if you get a little tired, take a rest in Central park or Grand Central or the New York Public Library. If you get really tired or if the weather turns make sure you invest in a weekly Subway pass the best way to get from the top to the bottom of the city for only 30 dollars!!!
