We liked everything about The Metric. The place is immaculate, minimalist chic, and has super comfy mattress/pillows. The owners really look after the property and make sure everything is perfect. We were here last year, too, and we can't think of staying anywhere else when we return again next year!

We loved the overall vibe and decor of the hotel: family-friendly, yet cool and stlyish with a very relaxed 70s vibe from when you walk in. Restaurant and pool area have a real holiday-feel about them. We loved that the breakfast buffet used proper cutlerly and plates. We only stayed two nights as part of our 2 weeks California road trip. But could very well imagine for a family to stay there for more days doing sight-seeing and then relaxing at the pool and using all the additional entertainment such as open-air film screenings, guided walks etc. This hotel was definitely the highlight accommodation of our trip because of its unique 70s style and very friendly, laid-back atmosphere.

The welcoming as soon as we arrived was unprecedented. We were treated like royalty, with the staff matching the beautifully unique aesthetic perfectly. As first timer’s in LA, the advice we were given about where to visit near the area was absolutely perfect - it felt like getting advice from locals. The room was absolutely stunning, with even smaller details like the hand / body wash being magnificently elegant. The decor, atmosphere, and experience as a whole was incredible.

Great hosts and fantastic facilities. Everything we required was provided plus multiple parking options. The hosts were extremely welcoming. Would highly recommend and would definitely rebook if I am in the area again. Neighbourhood felt safe and it was just a short walk down the hill into Echo Park.

:We had an amazing stay at this little studio house! It was fully equipped with everything you need, in a beautiful and peaceful neighborhood close to shops. Aaron and Luciana went above and beyond to make us feel at home, which made our stay extra special. If you want to experience the greener, quieter side of LA with trees, parks, and picnics, we highly recommend Echo Park Hills. Truly an amazing experience — we’ll definitely be back next year!
