The boutique hotel was lovely, clean, the continental breakfast selection was more like a "European style" --full on menu (i.e.,beverages- juices, teas, coffee, espresso, hot entree with assortment of breads, pastries, spreads, fruits, cold entrees, etc.). The food was excellent. The quality of the food and beverages were exceptional! The morning dining room staff were professional and courteous and not intrusive to guests while dining. but, if you needed to order an item from the dine in menu the staff was there to take your order and worked efficiently. The dining room was clean and setup lovely. The staff always kept the food area replenished and very clean! We also enjoyed the 24 hour availably for in room dining. My husband and I will definitely be returning soon to stay at Hotel Drisco. The 24 hour parlor room service with hot and cold beverages with light snacks was a welcome treat especially the biscotti! Nice to come back to the Hotel and relax in the parlor room with a beverage and have a snack. The selection of quality teas were very nice. All the Hotel Drisco staff from bell men, front desk, dining room and housekeeping were professional and courteous especially, Tanjay! Our room was clean and very comfortable...housekeeping staff always kept our room very clean...like the bed and bath linens too!

The receptionist helped us bring in our luggage while we parked the car in the lot across the street. Right beside Hippie Hill and hip restaurants and stores. Close to all San Francisco attractions. Charming and welcoming. The breakfast buffet offered many healthy choices.

The Metro is a home from the beginning. It is simple, small and a bit crooked but is is full of heartiness. The owner (?) helps you with anything and gives you good guidance especially for the Haights. A good place to start your trip to SF. Arnold

I like the staff, who are all very nice and friendly. They always converse with me, making me feel warm and welcome. They are willing to help and support everything they can during my stay. The second thing I like is the location. As you may know, it's very dangerous in San Francisco. Many places are full of homeless, and I feel so scared, but the location of this hotel is very safe and peaceful you can walk on the street at night and park your car safely. Anyway, the hotel provides a very, very safe parking lot for you too. Another thing is the cleanliness of the room. The room is very clean and the housekeeper makes it clean every day. The last thing is the comfortable bed I can sleep well and good rest in the bed.

Huge park, larger than Central Park in NYC.

Huge park, larger than Central Park in NYC. Lots of trails and paths, beautiful landscaping and gardens. Cal Academy of Sciences is a must visit with a planetarium, aquarium, and rainforest inside. There is also the DeYoung art museum directly across from CAS.

We walked along the bay from Pier 33 it us a long way but...

We walked along the bay from Pier 33 it us a long way but plenty of places to stop grab food or coffee and you see some quaint places. We took a bus back from the visitor centre at the top by the toll gates. Once the buses have come off the bridge they all go to the same spot in the city centre.

Well, what can I say - the one and only.

Well, what can I say - the one and only. Beautiful seaside ambience, fog blowing through the eucalyptus trees, and so many amazing things still echo from days gone by. Be aware of your surroundings but enjoy the magic.

Lovely place. Location hard to beat, very close to golden gate park and beaches; great coffee places and bars in walking distance. The hotel is very modern with great amenities and a super cosy room. Fireplace and nice atmosphere in the outdoor area. You actually meet people! Loved my stay there. If only they offered breakfast... but the coffee maker in the room was great, thanks for that!

I travelled from the airport by BART and the hotel is only a couple of minutes from the Civic Center/UN Plaza BART station. It couldn't have been easier to get to. I was able to get to the waterfront and Golden Gate Park without any issues travelling on public transport (BART and bus). All of the staff I met were friendly and welcoming.

We loved our stay in this beautiful home. It had everything we needed and was so comfortable. Location was great right next to Golden Gate Park and within walking distance of shops and restaurants. The hosts were super helpful and communicative. Would highly recommend!

Golden Gate park has sooo much to offer including its history. There's a conservatory, a Japanese tea garden, stables, two museums, countless wooded and grassy areas for any kind of sport or recreational exercise, they've even got Bison. Not to mention that the city as a whole including the parks are super dog friendly.
