what a relaxing place to enjoy the ocean and local life. About 2km away from Sanyang Beach "Center" with small restaurants, little shops and colourful fishing boats. It takes about 30min to walk there on the beach. Bosofet has only 6 rooms, all with a veranda and in front a palm tree garden and the ocean and beach, which is very clean for Gambia concerns. Omar and his friends and staff organize everything you ask for and help whereever they can. And theres also LUCKY, the Bosofet dog if you like hugging - he´s so friendly too. Bosofet is also a good place if you what to explore the Southwest of The Gambia like Brikama or Kartong. Breakfast and other meals are provided if ordered in advance at very reasonable costs. WIFI ist working well. Bring moskito spray! Thank you Omar and all the others for your hospitality!

A very beautiful comfortable and well-kept lodge, the surrounding garden is totally lush and idyllic with lots of singing birds that will wake you up in the morning. I loved its traditional design, you can tell a lot of care and attention went into it. The hosts and the staff were super friendly and helpful at all times and will make you feel at home. We had an incredible stay! Helen, Oliver and their staff couldn't do enough for us and were excellent company. The room was perfect with a large bathroom. Very comfortable and big bed, fridge, tea and coffee making facilities in the room and a lovely patio to relax. We enjoyed the communal banterbar, where we had some interesting meal times with excellent food, made by both Helen and Oliver. It was also great to have the use of 2 decent bikes during our stay We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Tendinkoto and will hopefully visit the lodge again. Thank you to all.

I enjoyed here one of the best experiences during my trip through the Gambia. It was exactly what I wanted for my last days, a place where you can enjoy the quiet environment, just the sound of birds around you. Malick, the host, took great care of me, he was always around and available, bringing me fruits and nuts while I was reading by the terrace. I was very lucky to share a unique experience with them, as it was Sona's birthday and we had lunch together with Emilie as well, thank you so much for that, and for letting me stay in the room until late in the afternoon, as my flight was leaving very late in the evening. If I ever manage to visit this country again I will for sure visit this lodge again.

A wonderful location outside the tourist areas of the Gambia. The lodge is very comfortable and the hosts are exceptional. It was like being a house guest in their own bird reserve. I went for the birding and was not not disappointed with the location - the woods and the lagoon offered an amazing variety of habitats. The food was very authentic and done to a very high standard. All the staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly.
