The location, looking into the jungle is just a dream! You get your own bungalow, even the cheapest option has a big bed, a terrace and shower+toilet in the bungalow. It's just a nature dream

bed was big and comfy. garden was beautiful and calm. even saw an orangutan there! on the edge of the jungle. close to restaurants. kind owners.

If you want to see orangutans in Bukit Lawang, stop looking, this is the place! The hotel is rustic and beautiful, it is next to the river and the views of the jungle from the bedroom window are incredible! From here we saw orangutans, gibbons, monkeys, langurs, butterflies and birds without having to move. It includes breakfast, and in the restaurant they serve the best curry in town! The staff always attend you with a smile and are willing to help you with whatever you need at all times, we leave with a full heart, thank you very much Pepen, Lina, Inaka, Dani, Rini, Safii, Kolik, Pindo, Ifan and of course Riko (we have a chess match pending, the definition) And if you want to do the tour and enter the national park to explore the wonders of the incredible jungle of Sumatra, well, I must say that here they have the most professional team of all! We spent 3 days and 2 nights in the jungle, with the best guides in Bukit Lawang: Rio and Jerry! They accompany you, teach you and take care of you, they care about protecting the environment and the surroundings, proud of their culture and with a smile all day, attentive to us living one of the best experiences of our entire trip through Southeast Asia. Thanks also to Jill for an amazing dining experience in the middle of the jungle, we never imagined we would eat so well! You have a great team Sean, thank you so much! Amazing location with a fantastic view over the mountains and the jungle. You get extremely close to nature in a peaceful and tranquil environment. We enjoyed the terraces and facilities. We saw many monkeys and even saw one orangutan from the terrace. It was perfect for our family of 6 and we felt extremely welcome and well taken care of by the friendly and helpful owner and staff. They went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and have a wonderful time. They even played badminton with our son. The trips arranged were fantastic with great professional guides who with respect for nature showed us the wonders of the jungle. We saw 6 six different types of monkeys, monitor lizards, various gekkos, various snakes, squirrels, frogs, ants, caterpillars. We also got to see orangutans up close on multiple occasions on each trek - from babies and mothers to a big male. We would also recommend tubing on the river. We feel grateful to have such wonderful experience ❤️

Great facilities (beautiful resort next to the river with a great lounge). Excellent restaurant.

I give 5 stars because it's really good, cool, not crowded and you can see orangutans. If interested, the room is also clean, smells good and has good, smooth wifi
