The place was much more than we have expected! The view is amazing, the house is absolutely beautiful and big, great and equipped kitchen, a lot of outside seating areas, beautiful garden! I had a single room with shared bathroom. The room was small but certainly adequate for a single traveller and the facilities throughout the lodge are modern and very clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. I found the common area very useful and worth it just for the fabulous view across Queenstown and the Remarkables from the balcony! Great location - walking distance from restaurants, pubs, shops and info services.

The property offers self-service check-in and check-out facilities. Each room is an independent space equipped with an electronic code lock. Some bathrooms are shared among the property.

The host, Ina, was excellent in communicating via message and leaving so much information about Queenstown and the surrounding areas. The cleanliness and presentation were of high standard and we had a lovely stay here. Be mindful that it is not fully contained and does not have a kitchenette, but there is a small fridge, toaster and kettle for a light breakfast. Everything was handled incredibly well and professionally by Ina, who clearly knows what she's doing as a host!

The Hidden Lodge is a true hidden gem. The hosts - Wendy and David - were very welcoming, friendly, and helpful, treating their guests more like friends. The views from the lodge were spectacular. The breakfast, freshly prepared by David, was very nice, while giving us insider tips about activities , wine, and other things of our interest. Couldn't recommend this accommodation enough.
