We had a fantastic time at Lakefield Lodge. The lodge was impressively clean, and we felt comfortable throughout our stay. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff, particularly one friendly lady, was responsive to our queries and super friendly. Found this place by luck and I think I have found my home for when ever I am in Johannesburg, we booked the family room with my two friends, sparkling clean and the comfort of the beds. The pool is super clean and the owner with all her staff are super amazing made we were well taken care off. Bonus was their yummy breakfast. Definitely will stay there again 😊😊😊

Fresh beautifully clean rooms, beautiful gardens, comfy bed, mammoth breakfasts made just for me, friendly hounds running up for a cuddle. Nothing was too much trouble. I was visiting to say a sad final goodbye to a relative and owners kindly shuttled me back and forth to the retirement village. Owners and their gorgeous staff are all fantastic.

    This lodge, only a few mins away from Jo'burg is a very peaceful place. You would not expect to find such a place within a city, but here it is. I enjoyed everything about it. A little piece of nature and of the bush in the city. The owner David is lovely, welcoming, always willing to help. very nice service and team working there. I totally recommend this place. And feel free to ask them about the tours they can offer !
