We did the Leopard trail in the Blyder River Canyon with Wendel, our host, who is a great guide and who told us about the trees on the trail and showed us scarvations from the Iron age. It was very interesting. We also did a trip with Wendel to Marieskop, the tallest Mountain in the Canyon, where we had a view of The Tree Rondavels from a different perspective. A hidden gem in the Blyder River Canyon! A great experience. So if you look for something special to do in this area, dont hesitate to contact Wendel, who cany make all arangements, so you get a great experiene that goes beyond your expectations. What a wonderful stay. Friendly owner and staff. Amazing 4 course meal and lovely range of wines. Such a beautiful setting and so quiet. Wish we could have stayed longer than one night but alas such is the nature of business. Hope to come back for a more leisurely visit.
