Great dinner (stake was delicious) and breakfast. Lodge and service is truly wonderful.

Surrounded by vineyards and offering a view of the Swartberg Mountains, De Kombuys is situated on a wine farm 3 km from the Cango Caves and 23 km from the town of Oudtshoorn.

After a couple of ' self check-in accommodations" it felt good to have a warm welcome of Len ( and his cute bassets) . The whole Thabile team was very helpful and we appreciated their hospitality. Thabile Lodge was exactly what we were looking for. Laid back and intimate. Diner was very tasteful and served in a relaxing setting. Breakfast was generous and of good quality. We highly recommend and give a well deserved 10 rating

Everything! The host Richard is the most charming, warm host I have ever met. The property is perfectly situated in a very safe, quiet upmarket area. It is quiet and feels like you are out on a farm, yet so close to town that you can take a refreshing walk. I heard some lions in the mornings from a game reserve nearby. Simply lovely. The facilities were more than adequate and I had eveything I needed and more!!

Only 10 km from the famous Cango Caves, De Poort Country Lodge offers self-catering accommodation. A continental breakfast is available on order at an extra charge and only available as room service....

The cozy little oasis is beautifully designed, and we felt right at home as soon as we arrived. The moment you pass through the lush driveway and enter the property, you're greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere. Elna, the lovely host welcomed us with such kindness, immediately providing us with all the tips we needed for exploring the area. She even helped us out with a small request right away, which truly saved our stay. Elna embodies the essence of South African hospitality, the kind of person you’d love to have a friendly chat with. The rooms are cozy and perfectly equipped, complete with a small kitchen, making them an ideal setup.

Beautiful setting, swimming pool, rooms were enormous and very comfortable. You could eat dinner there which after a long drive was fantastic great breakfast also. The staff were lovely too.
