The hotel just finished a big part of the renovations so it looks new and modern yet still retaining their African charm. The bar n restaurants were great and the safari tours led by their own team were amazing.

The bar and restaurant area are quite incredible. You can sit there day or night and see animals quite often in the hundreds around the water hole.
The whole Safari comes to you whilst you have a drink. Incredible place.

Location along the river is great and the rooms very well appointed and roomy. Outstanding breakfast buffet, and staff very helpful in arranging take-away breakfasts and lunches formal day excursions. Buffet dinners at Sududu Grill were good, but not outstanding. It is a very big complex spread out across to main lodges.

Chobe safari lodge is a little piece of heaven on earth. You can see warthogs running around on the grass from the balcony. The view from Sidoudou bar was incredible. The food was 5 star- delicious. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. Our safari guide Sampson (Samie) was excellent. His knowledge on the game drives was outstanding. We will treasure the memories of this safari for many years. Definitely would love to return!

Out of all places we stayed within Zambia and Botswana this one is by far our favourite:
1. Really fantastic rooms with a view
2. Variety of great activities. And activity Center is simply a pleasure to deal with
3. Fantastic staff, especially thanks to Selelo for checking up regularly if all is to perfection
4. Location - close to the shop, banks
5. Loved the breakfast
6. On the upside for the future, once Safari lodge reception is renovated and the second swimming pool is open it will be simply a perfection.

We found River View Lodge to be an ideal base in Kasane. It is very well situated, close to the airport, town, shops, banks, etc. It has a lovely outlook over the Chobe River and is quiet and peaceful. It had a lovely pool so one could cool off in the middle of the day. They offered a great half day safari into Chobe, a boat trip in the afternoon on the Chobe river and a day visit to Victoria Fall, all of which we participated in, and enjoyed thoroughly.

Right on the Chobe River. The property has its own safari vehicles and boat which is nice and spacious when you do a sunset cruise. Food at the lodge was good and dining area is well set out. The lodge is close to Chobe National Park (20 mins away) and Victoria Falls is a day excursion away. Unity picked us up at the airport and she was great to talk to and tell us about the local area. Highly recommend a stay here.

I can’t tell you as we did NOT stay at the Safari Lodge. When we arrived they could not accommodate us and moved is to The Bush Lodge.
This was extremely disappointing as we booked months in advance!

very nice and modern rooms, beautiful and cosy territory outdoor. Friendly and polite staff and amazing activities (boat and safari). It’s really nice to chill in the evening at terrace listening to nature’a sounds. I recommend river view lodge to everyone)
