Everything was perfect and the hosts were amazing. Beautiful views from the 2 bedroom house over volcano and lake. We cooked our own meals and loved the Bbq and well equipped kitchen. The beds are super comfortable and showers hot. Heating excellent. Good quality linen. Highly recommend staying here if visiting Frutillar and region.

A continental breakfast is available at the lodge. A warm welcome with generous hearts. Our room was warm and cosy with a comfortable bed. We loved sitting in the lounge during our evenings to enjoy a glass of our own wine bought at a local supermarket. It was indeed a home away from home. We had fabulous advice for the must see/dos in the area and assistance with bookings as needed. Breakfast was too good not to eat, with homebaked treats.

Some units include a balcony and/or a patio with river views. Everything! This place is “heart and soul”! Built by your host, Renzo, he has created a place of calm that stress just falls away! Each can in has its own “forrest” and hot tub! The cabins are simple and all different having used the nature around to build them. The best of all is your host Renzo! He too is all heart and soul and his hospitality and help is endless. What a gem! A gem of a place, a gem of a host! We’ll miss him very much.

Both WiFi and private parking are accessible at the lodge free of charge. I want to thank Pamela for the hospitality, my friends and I felt like at home. Pamela is kind, interesting in communication person, she recommended us a really delicious place to have dinner in the city (I recommend you ask too!). After visiting the oceanfront park, we returned for another night. The room is spacious, the beds are comfortable, the shower is excellent, there is plenty of space on the veranda to enjoy the view of the bay and the city. Basic but excellent breakfast, fast internet. And if you love cats and dogs, you will definitely like this place. It's not a problem at all that the house is far from the city center — public transport runs often and is cheap. I recommend this place with all my heart! That's what we needed to rest between hiking and moving between cities.

Both WiFi and private parking are accessible at the lodge free of charge. The surroundings of the cabin are lovely. It feels like you are in a jungle with mature trees and ferns but in reality, you are in a secure garden just a few metres away from the main property. The cabin was tastefully furnished and we had a comfortable stay. The lake and restaurants are a few minutes away. We used the secure car park and walked to the city center which was about 15-20 minutes for us. The owner and his family are lovely people and quick to answer questions and requests.

A children's playground is available on site and canoeing can be enjoyed within close proximity of the lodge. Cute cabin with a wood stove for heating. The wood stove worked very well and wood was restocked in the cabin each day. Beds are super cozy with lots of blankets to keep you warm. Great views of the bay. Enjoyed viewing the birds and the bay upon waking each morning. Great hot water shower without waiting for water to heat up. Need a car to get to this location but it is only a short drive to Castro. Nice and quiet area. Would have stayed here longer had my itinerary allowed.

My boyfriend and I arrived at the Michimahuida cabins as the first destination on our trip to the Carretera Austral. Our stay in the place was short, however we managed to establish a super pleasant and friendly communication with Nano, the owner of the place and his work team, who treated us in a super warm and close way. I must also mention that Nano was a good support for us, during the trip, with recommendations, and giving his help after we suffered an accident on the road. We are fine, nothing happened to us, however we had to alter the order of everything a bit and Nano in a super disinterested way helped us.
