The design of the cabin was perfect for 2 couples. All the large windows facing the lake plus the outdoor patio was wonderful. Every night we watched the sunset. Just beautiful. Plus we had a little visitor, a fox!!!! It was one of our favorite places we stayed in Chili.

And the plentiful breakfast was brought to our door every morning. It was our base to explore the lake and the countryside.

It was within walking distance of Puerto Varas but far enough away for quiet. The facilities were excellent. Loved the two bathrooms and the view from the upstairs bedroom! The owner was kind and welcoming. Amazing panaderia right across the street and an excellent breakfast place a few blocks away. Highly recommend!!

This is an exceptional stay, the location is wonderful with the sea advancing underneath the property at high tide. The bird life is easy to spot from inside the cabin and the balcony is a good size to sit out in. You can stargaze from there at night. Inside the log burner keeps everything cozy and the kitchen is well equipped. There are shops within a 10 minute walk. Castro is easily accessible by local bus. If you don’t speak Spanish, the drivers are very helpful. Castro itself is a good visit with lots of shops and cafes and good views. The staff overcome language problems with ease simply with the desire for you to enjoy your stay. There are cats, chickens and a very engaging young dog. I don’t give 10/10s. This is a 10/10.

Cabañas Parque Michimahuida in Chaitén biedt accommodatie met uitzicht op de rivier, een tuin, een privéstrand en een barbecue. Location is very beautiful, so was the cabaña. Owners very nice and helpful, breakfast was good.
