Not only does the accommodation and the view feel like you've arrived in heaven, the surrounding nature is also incredibly beautiful and a paradise! The walk to the accommodation is so worth it, you will be rewarded with the freshest chocolate you will ever eat and a view of the sea that is incomparable. The beds are extremely comfortable (the most comfortable I've had in 3 months in Colombia) and the view from the hostel is priceless! This is your place to relax, recharge, connect with nature. I can also recommend the cacao tour with Polo, he not only shows you the complete cacao process, but also how much passion and love goes into his project and all the different fruits & plants on his land! The food is also an absolute dream! Three evenings that felt more like a Michelin-starred restaurant than a hostel. Alvaro & Polo have a magical menu every evening, con mucho amor! ❤️ For all digital nomads: You have the best Starlink internet and can even work in heaven. :D

We loved our short stay at Cabana Barlovento, we wished to stay more but they were fully booked (for a reason). The view from our room has been amazing, we were literally above the beach. The food was very good and reasonably priced. The staff did everything to make our stay comfortable, many thanks for that!

Definitely recommend to everyone! The food is amazing, as is the deep peace and beauty you find here. By boat from Santa Marta or from playa Cabo San Juan. The hostel far exceeded our expections with a wonderful greeting from our host, Carmen, who was always happy, smiling and helpful. Due to the price we paid, we expected a much cheaper feeling, but everything from the facilities to the personnel was excellent. While there's no food on the premises a small restaurant very nearby has one of the best menus of the day, we've had in Colombia! The breakfast on site was per plate instead of a buffet, which meant it was freshly made.

This is a beautiful house with outstanding Mountain Views. You can see the dedication of the owner on every detail. It has everything one needs for a very comfortable stay. Premium mattress and linens, hot water, tasteful decorations and lots of small details. Yuca restaurant is a few steps away and we enjoyed great breakfast and dinners. Tayrona Park is 10 minutes walking distance.

What makes this place so great, as so many have alluded to, is Fiona and Helmut - lovely, hospitable hosts who do everything they can to make you feel welcome. Loved the breakfasts and Helmut’s cooking in the evening was excellent too. The location is just magnificent and the views from the Finca and from the poolside are unforgettable - banana trees, jungle and the beautiful coastline. It is a rustic place but with lots of beautiful touches and a great spot from which to totally unwind and escape - though we also used it as a base to explore nearby Tayrona National Park and Palomino, both short bus rides away from the bottom of the hill. Thank you guys for sharing your slice of paradise with us, we miss it already!

Το Entre Bosques Tayrona βρίσκεται σε Los Naranjos και είναι ένα κατάλυμα με θέα στο βουνό. We liked the location very much, it's in the middle of the jungle. The hike towards the place is easy (about 20 min), a nice way to walk! You can also drive there or take the mototaxi. The staf is amazing and super friendly, the property is family owned, and rustic. Perfect for exploring Tayrona National Park and having a relaxt time!

We dealt mostly with David and Alejo, both of whom spoke really good English, and they were very genuine, interested, and nice. The other staff were also great and were happy to try to chat with us in our broken Spanish. The food was really tasty. The ingredients felt high quality and the cooks were really good. The camarones con salsa de coco y ajo was especially good. The cabins were really cool. It felt like we were staying in a treehouse, with plenty of monkeys and birds at eye-level while we lounged in the hammocks. The bed was comfortable and everything was kept really clean by the staff.
