So light , bright and modern. It’s lovely to see the palm trees through the shower glass ceiling. The bungalows are right on the beach. Sunrise on one side, sunset on the other. So remarkably peaceful. A private beach with no sales people allowed to bother you and a private pool for lodge users too. If you have kids, there is a larger pool and water slide further along the complex. The restaurant offers a wide variety of food and is quiet and civilised and is located on the beach next to the diving centre where I learned to scuba dive. The staff here are always lovely, friendly and professional. It’s worth taking time to visit the spa where professionally trained staff offer a variety of treatments. Sit on your own little terrace, or at the restaurant and bar or on the beach. I keep returning here. I love it.

Το Marina Lodge at Port Ghalib βρίσκεται ακριβώς πάνω στη μαρίνα του Port Ghalib στην Marsa Alam, με θέα στην Ερυθρά Θάλασσα. The hospitality is extraordinary. First day we arrived just after lunch hours, after understanding we’ve not had lunch and would like some snacks, the hotel staff and chef made us a full table meal, from pasta to grilled aubergine and peppers - all super delicious. I’m vegetarian and since stepping into this hotel, all the chefs have said hi and introduced themselves to me, triple checking everyday to make sure I was satisfied with the food served. They always say to let them know if I want anything in particular and they’ll make for me. We also asked if there’s any guava fruits we could have, and Sammy the general manager of the hotel, brought a bag full of fresh guava just for us. The fruit was fresh and delicious - photo taken together with the fruit palette delivered to our hotel room in the evening.

Το Abu Dabbab Lodge βρίσκεται στην περιοχή Abu Dabbab. Αυτό το καταφύγιο απέχει 30χλμ. από το Διεθνές Αεροδρόμιο Marsa Alam. It was very close to the Abu Dabab beach, which was one of the best beaches I've ever been to, with amazing snorkelling, sunbathing and diving opportunities, and some nice bars to get some cold beers. The rooms were clean, cosy, and comfortable, and the area around was full of flowers and greenery, which gave such a nice feel to the place. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, always making sure we were ok, and the food in the restaurant was great. This place is great for SCUBA divers or people who like to spend most of their time by the ocean.

The food at the restaurant was also very good and breakfast was copious and varied. Highly recommended
