It's truly in the middle of nowhere. There are just 3 cabins and a Sauna hut. Complete privacy, silence and beautiful trails to walk. One has to get the water from the hole in the frozen river few meters from the sauna. It's a bare bones wilderness cabin experience yet very cozy and comfortable. The staff is super friendly and answer all your questions. There is a wood fireplace in the cabin and the wood is provided. The huskies are nearby. They howl when the Aurora's are out.

Het Vaattunki Wilderness Resort wordt omgeven door natuur- en wandelpaden en ligt op 24 km van het centrum van Rovaniemi. Beautiful resort and beautiful igloo where we stayed. The personnel was great, especially Alberto from Venezuela and Edi from Romania (Restaurant). They assisted us on every request and gaved us some ideas about our stay in Vaatunki. I Fully recommend this resort.

Lodge 67°N Lapland ligt in het centrum van Äkäslompolo, aan de voet van het nationaal park Pallas-Yllästunturi. WiFi en parkeergelegenheid zijn gratis beschikbaar. It is a cozy, peaceful, small inn. The people who run it treated us like friends. They answered all our questions about the area, checked in about how are experiences were, and were just friendly and helpful in every way! There is a washer and dryer, fabulous saunas, and delicious buffet breakfast. We could walk to ski trails, shops and restaurants. We didn't really need a car.

Aava Riverside ligt op 16 km van Arktikum Science Centre en biedt een tuin en een privéstrand. De accommodaties hebben airconditioning, een terras en gratis WiFi. De accommodatie heeft een sauna. It is very cozy and well equipped. Very clean and looks very new. It felt somehow a bit like home. We would come back for sure!

Little Elves Cabin is gelegen in Rovaniemi, op 16 minuten lopen van Santa Claus Village - Main Post Office (Hoofdpostkantoor) en 1,1 km van Santa Claus Village - Christmas House, en biedt een tuin en... Loved how close it is to Santa Claus Village. The walk to it was gorgeous, just through the forest. Super warm cabin. Very comfy bed. The hosts went above and beyond. Nothing was too much and they were only too happy to help. Very approachable. Our stay was fantastic. We cant wait to come back.

Elves Cabin Wagon bevindt zich in Rovaniemi, op 14 minuten lopen van Dorp van de Kerstman en 1,4 km van Santa Claus Village - Main Post Office (Hoofdpostkantoor), en biedt een tuin en uitzicht op de... It was very close to the Santa Claus Village and it was big enough for us, comfortable and easy, shower and toilet in the separate building were warm and very nice! I liked that the keeper Olli was very welcoming and hospitable and there for us when we needed him.

Ranua Haistila Retreat with Elegant Views & Sauna near Rovaniemi bevindt zich in Ranua in de regio Lapland, op 16 km van Wildpark Ranua en biedt gratis WiFi, een barbecue, een tuin en gratis... The house was perfect. Very comfortable Living room, hot saune, spacious bedrooms...so much better than expected. We even had a Christmas tree :-) The location is close to Ranua (15 minutes by car) and Rovaniemi (1 hour).

Crow Creek Cabins ligt in Inari. De accommodatie is voorzien van een volledig uitgeruste kitchenette met een koelkast en koffiezetapparaat, een flatscreen-tv en een eigen badkamer met bidet en douche.... The location is great! Super quiet and not far from the village!
