Location just fantastic, in the middle of the nature. BUT you should know that it is more or less 20 Min walk/hike trouth the forest form the last area which is accessable by car or bike. So if you have a big luggage it can be taff.

Room with fan, no aircon, but was comfortable with 33 degrees outside temperature. To access it, you need a safe but wobbly pedestrian hanging bridge. Jack’s Bar across the river has two terraces and serves food.

We had an unforgettable trekking experience in the Sumatran jungle as a group of eight. Our guide, Joni, was absolutely incredible — he did everything possible to make sure we spotted as many orangutans as we could, and thanks to his knowledge and patience we truly got the most magical moments out there. The hotel was great as well, and the guys at the reception were genuinely helpful and friendly. We felt taken care of from the moment we arrived until the very end. We’re extremely happy with the whole experience and highly recommend it 100%. An adventure we’ll remember forever!

I also booked jungle and orangutan trekking with them which was brilliant. The whole team (but particularly Yusup and Geng) made me feel very welcome, went above and beyond for me to get the most out of my experience and tailored the trek to my preferences. Thoroughly recommend 👍🏽

We were treated like family at on the rocks, wawan and his team were so helpful and friendly that we instantly felt at home. I cannot recommend staying here enough. We did multiple treks with Wong and he was wonderful, so much information to share but also never even felt like he was a guide. Treks can be suited for your fitness level but you are almost guaranteed to see orangutans no matter where you go. The restaurant was also delicious.

Like the quiet yet calming of the atmosphere of the hotel. Highly recommended!
