We checked out of Olkinyei Mara Camp this morning after two wonderful nights. We were welcomed so warmly by Joseph and the team, and even got an upgrade, which actually made me cry when I saw the room; it was so beautiful. The staff were incredibly attentive, shout out to Jeff, who was so kind. We booked the game drive through the hotel and had Dennis as our guide who was incredible and knew exactly the best spots to see the animals. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.

They were perfect pair who complemented each other - Joab is the most experienced and knowledgeable driver we could have asked for, and Mark is currently training but you wouldn’t be able to tell - his knowledge, enthusiasm and passion is so clear for all to see. They made an amazing team who were lucky to form a family with for 5 days and see such incredible moments. everyone at reception - daisy and Cecilia- were amazing and so helpful. We can’t wait to go back and for anyone going we can’t recommend Intrepids enough - and request Joab and Mark!

Luckily I had the property to myself and was able to spend most of my time in the bush. The staff were awesome especially the safari guide.

We recently stayed at Drunken Elephant Mara and it turned out to be an absolutely wonderful choice. The property is beautifully located inside the Masai Mara National Reserve, giving you the chance to truly immerse yourself in nature—with wildlife frequently wandering close to the camp! The staff were incredibly warm and hospitable, always present around the camp to assist—whether it was guiding us to the restaurant or reception, or helping when animals were nearby. Their constant presence made us feel both safe and well cared for. Our tented room was spacious, luxurious, and extremely comfortable, equipped with all the modern amenities you’d expect from a high-end property, without compromising on the authentic safari experience. The meals were delicious and thoughtfully prepared, and the team even packed us meal boxes for our game drives. Speaking of which, the game drives arranged by the team were fantastic—well-coordinated and truly memorable. A small but heartwarming gesture was the team placing hot water bottles in our beds at night, which made the chilly Mara evenings extra cozy. A special shoutout to Faheem, the reservations manager, who helped us plan our trip from the start—answering every question with patience and attention. Huge thanks also to Abraham and the rest of the team for their hospitality and for making our stay so memorable. Highly recommend Drunken Elephant Mara for anyone looking for an unforgettable stay in the Masai Mara!

We stayed in a club tent, and we loved that it was set away from the main accommodation, so it was a bit more quiet and secluded. Our room was beautiful with large bathroom facilities and allowed plenty of space to relax. We also had access to the Olchani Lounge, which overlooked the lake. The food was exceptional, and the staff were terrific. Everyone was attentive, and having stayed for 4 nights, the lounge staff knew my partner would be looking to enjoy a beer post afternoon safari each day. To celebrate a special occasion, my partner was also surprised with a cake on our final night, which was lovely. We would highly recommend Sarova and would not hesitate to stay there again.

Mara River Camp is located on the North West boundary of the Maasai Mara National Reserve overlooking the Mara River. It features a swimming pool and garden. Very well located, comfortable place with good food and friendly staff. We really enjoyed it.

View of river is lovely. Not all rooms have view but lodge view is top. Hippos and crocodiles in river. Great sounds at night. Lovely location for exploring Mara. Staff was amazing. Great food and so nice. Hope I return one day

We were so happy to book Jambo Mara Safari lodge the way last minute since our previous booking fell through. The staff were amazing and accommodating. The rooms were exceptionally clean and very comfortable. I highly recommend Jambo Mara Safari lodge and would stay again if going to Masai Mara. The food was great too!
