The guys that work here are wonderful - friendly, helpful and always keeping the territory clean and cosy. The room was clean and the wood makes everything look beautiful. Our room was without A/C but with a ceiling fan. Next time we would choose a room with A/C. Breakfast was very generous, local and super delicious. We did not managed to eat everything that was prepared for us. Guys cook amazingly! The distance to the city did not caused any problem. Tuk-tuk to the city costs ~1€ or so and the staff dropped us there couple of times for free. It was nice to leave all the noise there and get back to our jungle for night's sleep. We also got a chance to check-in earlier, thanks for that!

THE LODGE by Eco Love is located in Galle, 4.8 km from Galle Fort, 4.9 km from Dutch Church Galle, and 5.3 km from Galle Light house. The air-conditioned accommodation is 4.7 km from Galle International Cricket Stadium, and guests benefit from on-site private parking and complimentary WiFi. We stayed here for three days and felt very comfortable. The cottage built in the garden of the family is very stylishly furnished and has everything you need. Great interior design. It even has a very large refrigerator, dishes, and a sink. Malik and his family take really good care of their guests. The breakfast is delicious and plentiful (so much so that we made ourselves packed lunches). And Malik's brother once brought us some delicious homemade cookies, just because I had told him that I like sweets. You can borrow two bicycles for free, which we did once to explore the surrounding area and ride through the rice fields. Malik is a very good contact when it comes to organizing excursions. He gave us great tips and organized a good driver for a day trip to the rainforest. He also speaks excellent English (which is unfortunately not often the case in Sri Lanka), so it's easy to have a conversation with him. He is an awesome guide himself and spent a morning showing us around the old town and fort of Galle, and we learned lots of new and interesting things. Highly recommend to go on a guided tour with him, if he is around. If we come back to Galle, we will definitely stay here again!

The property itself is stunning and spotless and the true meaning of Boutique. It's a little way from the beach but it's in the jungle with no sounds other than the wild life. There are little extras with this property that are noteworthy, the use of the kitchen if you like or the laundry room.

Lovely Owners and Dog, I could not of wished for a nicer time in their company as we took an early morning walk together -also popping in on friends in the neighborhood .-I was lucky to of heard the sweet lady sing-this was wonderful evening treat . Also a big bonus is the Tea Plantation which is within walking distance and THIS educational experience was very cool. I felt safe and liked my time here Alot.
