Waking up to the beauty of Sri Lanka and experiencing the cozy ambiance reminiscent of a European mountain cottage at night made our stay truly unforgettable. The food was delicious, clean, and tasted fresh like a home cooked meal. Intizar made our stay super unique, he took us to all the places we should see and made it really a great experience for us. Το Tedro home stay έχει θέα στο βουνό και παρέχει κήπο, κοινόχρηστο χώρο lounge και βεράντα. Το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος Kandy Museum είναι περίπου 3,9 χλμ μακριά. For us it was an amazing week that we did not expect the peace of the place, and the ease of getting around. Asela drove us to Kandy any time, we didn't know is was so close, and the drive so easy. It was actually nicer for us to be out of the city and Ascela took us around at a very low cost, we used messaging and always on time to meet us. Restaurants are interesting in town but we enjoyed eating at the home-stay because the food was very very good & healthy, such a beautiful place to look over the valley & their own vegetable & herb garden! We liked going on walks, magnificent views, and Asela actually gave us a little hiking tour! In Kandy, there are tourists like us- at Tedro we had privacy, but also felt part of the community when we took walks. There is a TV but we never used it. We will be back, some day, and we do recommend this precious experience to anyone that wants good food, good sleep (the bed is great, view is really nice) access to town& the sights. In fact, we ended up going on a longer excursion to Siguria with Asela as our driver! He kindly got us there and back safeley, and gave us a lot of space for personal privacy as we did our own exploring. He is a very good guide and his family - downstairs from the room & porches - is respectful.

The venue, arrangement, food and hospitality were all top tier. Would definitely recommend to a friend or a colleague to pay a visit to stay here. Mr. Pathirana, the owner warmly welcomed us and briefed us about the facilities and amenities. He recommended us the exceptionally good Pittu (which we claim the best Pittu we ever had) cooked for dinner by his cook, Mr. Chaminda. And he recommended to us their special Kiribath (milk rice) made from a special rice for breakfast. The room was very cozy and had everything we needed. The room had a bathroom and an outdoor shower carved out of a single granite. The backyard of the room was a small hill, grown with flowers and vegetables. On top of the hill (about 25m-50m away from the room), there was a swing decorated with flowers. The dinner and the breakfast were filling and tasty. Mr. Asanka warmly arranged the table for us. After breakfast, Mr. Chaminda walked us to their nearby land to show us their vegetable garden, water lily (Olu) pond and the well next to the Kubuk tree. It was an unforgettable stay for us and we thank Mr. Pathirana, Mr. Chaminda, Mr. Asanka and Mr. Pathirana's wife for that.

This was the best staying we have had in two months in Sri Lanka. The house is the perfect size for a couple, everything worked very well and the views were breathtaking. The dog that was living in the garden was super cute. We were so happy with the way Eric was always available for any inquiries we had. Specially recommended the food, we order dinner and it was such a privilege to be able to have a wonderful dinner in the terrace.

The view was amazing and the service from booking to departure was really accommodating and great. Very caring host and caretaker, nothing was too much trouble as I was travelling with my family and needed to ensure it was safe and the menu worked with our special requirements. It was really good value for money compared to the other properties in the area. I highly recommend this property and would stay there again next time we come to the area. Loved our stay. We ate a couple of meals from the property and the caretaker gave us vegetables and fruits grown at the premises which was awesome. The property was very new and clean and the internet worked very well in all the rooms we booked.
