The breakfast is great. The accommodation is a few kilometer from the center of Kandy. It’s very quiet. We slept very well.

This exceptional place blew up our minds. At the top of the hill, surrounded by tea plantation and magnificent nature. The bungalows are so spacious and comfortable. Big and comfortable bed. The view of the valley below and sunrise is spectacular. The smells and sounds of the nature keep you so calm with no need of anything else. Property manager Inthizar and his team makes sure you are taken care of properly. The food is excellent, both local and international dishes and you can choose to eat at the bungalow or the terrace. The hike through the plantation was amazing and a special treat. It is a bit away from Kandy, but worth by any means. When we left, just like amazinh host he is, Inthizar was checking on us if we were doing fine on the rest of our voyage and if we needed any assistance from his side. Definitely a place to visit again.

For us it was an amazing week that we did not expect the peace of the place, and the ease of getting around. Asela drove us to Kandy any time, we didn't know is was so close, and the drive so easy. It was actually nicer for us to be out of the city and Ascela took us around at a very low cost, we used messaging and always on time to meet us. Restaurants are interesting in town but we enjoyed eating at the home-stay because the food was very very good & healthy, such a beautiful place to look over the valley & their own vegetable & herb garden! We liked going on walks, magnificent views, and Asela actually gave us a little hiking tour! In Kandy, there are tourists like us- at Tedro we had privacy, but also felt part of the community when we took walks. There is a TV but we never used it. We will be back, some day, and we do recommend this precious experience to anyone that wants good food, good sleep (the bed is great, view is really nice) access to town& the sights. In fact, we ended up going on a longer excursion to Siguria with Asela as our driver! He kindly got us there and back safeley, and gave us a lot of space for personal privacy as we did our own exploring. He is a very good guide and his family - downstairs from the room & porches - is respectful.

It was the perfect place for us to spend 2 rainy days in Kandy. We were the only guests, so had the entire building for us. Punya and Ravi are very welcoming and friendly. Convenient location on a hill not far from the city, but quiet at night and with a nice view. Road is good, easy to drive in any weather. Interior is spacious, convenient and beautifully decorated. Included breakfast was delicious, also we had an access to kitchen facilities to cook our own meals and free use of washing machine.

Breakfast was so good, I didn't eat lunch. I would recommend this beautiful place to anyone that's looking for a relaxing time surrounded by nature.

We are definitely coming back again! Our stay here was one of the best vacations we have had in Sri Lanka so far!

Σε απόσταση μόλις 25 χλμ από Διεθνές Στάδιο Κρίκετ Pallekele, το Solitary Cottage Dunhinna βρίσκεται σε Teldeniya και παρέχει με κήπο, βεράντα και κοινόχρηστη κουζίνα. I had an absolutely amazing experience here. The owner helped me on my way to Teldeniya from there I took a Tuktuk up in the hills. Solitary Cottage offers all you need: a quiet natural experience, birds and the sound of the wind. I managed to do some good hiking around without the need of a guide. The bungalow is well equipped and offers and fully equipped kitchen! Wifi works great. Make sure you order your food through the accommodation, it was close to the best authentic Sri Lankan food I ever tasted during my travels in Sri Lanka. I would definitely recommend this gorgeous place
