Great hospitality, and prime location to Udawale national park, and just down the road (3 min drive) from the Elephant Transit Home. The room was just like the pictures, and the surrounding forest and river are magical. We even encountered some monkeys on the property which was a nice surprise. Breakfast was filling and delicious, a combination of traditional Sri Lankan sweets and breakfast foods with fruit. The owner and workers are incredibly courteous, offered some good safari deals, and even showed us some of the cinnamon, curry leaves, and pepper plant which are all on their property. Would 100% recommend to anyone staying in the area! Extremely reasonable price.

The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. It was the best stay in Sri Lanka we ever had. The staff was so incredibly nice and kind and the room was so clean and luxurious. Incredibly Good Price. 10/10 we would recommend

The hotel arranged a safari for us, which was well-organized and an unforgettable experience. The pool, food, and service were all good and matched my budget. they are not greedy for money like other hotels.

Guests at Peacock Riverside Eco Lodge can enjoy fishing and cycling nearby, or make the most of the garden. A green and beautifully run guest house where we really like to stay. The owners were some of the kindest people we met and went out of their way to give us advice and a smile! The owners talk to us very well. Dinner was perfect, very romantic and delicious buffet. We also booked a safari through them which we love, it was just the two of us in the jeep and we saw more elephants with a knowledgeable driver ( sujee ) .Definitely getting old. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality

Both WiFi and private parking are available at the lodge free of charge. An amazing guest house with three rooms, and a large common area, located at the foot of dramatic and lush hill. We managed some very nice birding just sitting in the garden. A truly relaxing setting in nature. The staff was very friendly and efficient, and the meals were delicious.

A buffet, Full English/Irish or Asian breakfast can be enjoyed at the property. At the lodge you will find a restaurant serving American, Cajun Creole and Chinese cuisine. Vegetarian, dairy-free and halal options can also be requested. Really nice garden and well-equipped cottage. The dinner they cooked was really tasty. The staff was super friendly and helpfull.

Fantastic place to stay, from the hosts to the actual room, to the location...We have only beautiful things to say. Communication with the owner was very easy and quick. The amenities were great. The room was wonderful & clean. Safari was Amazing. We could see so many Animals. Such as Sri Lankan leopards, deer, wild boar, water buffalos, crocodiles & a large number of varying Birds species (eagles, parrots, owls, and peacocks....) We had a great experience with the Oasis Wild Cottage. We definitely plan to return to OWC!

Both WiFi and private parking are accessible at the lodge free of charge. We were undecided about our National Park visit. We saw the evaluations for nature glow had, and it turned out they were 100% accurate. They organized a driver to pick us up and Ella and drive us to their magical accommodation. There are two accommodation villas located on a rise of land above a small creek entering a larger river. It's very much in the jungle with wildlife abounding. The air conditioning, which was important to us worked very well, and the bed, room and bathroom were all very good. Our hosts arranged for a safari driver for the two of us. The next morning we are up early and went on Safari in the national park. We saw many many elephants, both solo and in groups of females with their babies. And we also saw a variety of other wildlife. For us Sri Lankan food was a new experience. I fully recommend that you arrange to have your breakfast and dinner at the villa. The dishes were authentic and delicious. We were treated to a variety of different Sri Lankan food. Our host were wonderful people. They took pride and doing everything possible to make our stay as comfortable enjoyable and interesting as possible.
