Service was impeccable. You can immediately tell that all the staffs were genuinely delighted to have you at the lodge and would want it to be the best experience for you. The rooms are very well equipped and very comfortable. Views were stunning. There's in room heating and even the floors and bath rooms are heated. It was a nice and cosy night stay. Our trip was cut short due to bad weather but that wasn't a problem. We got a refund and no further questions asked.
Theg certainly set a sky high benchmark in customer service and experience .

A luxury stay experience at the edge of the breathtakingly beautiful New Zealand Fiordland. The Lodge sits in a stunning rural setting, with sweeping views across beautiful Lake Manapouri to the snow-capped peaks beyond. Our hosts Breidi and Brad made us feel very welcome and at home. Gourmet dinner and breakfast included in the stay were outstanding, and upon request our hosts arranged a delicious picnic for us to take on our day cruise to Doubtful Sound. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and many thoughtful details enhanced our stay. Highlights for us included an afternoon relaxing in the Library in front of a crackling fire, and chatting to other Lodge guests in the lounge over pre-dinner drinks and canapes.

Cabot Lodge was the best place we stayed during our vacation. It's a peaceful and relaxing retreat surrounded by gorgeous views of neighboring farms. We really loved walking the grounds and getting to know the farm sheep and mini horses. + The dinner was such a treat-- beautifully prepared and so tasty. I can't wait to return during my next visit.

The location was phenomenal, and the rooms were exceptionally clean. The delicious breakfast menu offered a ton of options. Hosts Sarah and John were incredibly hospitable, providing us with numerous suggestions for places to visit and dine. I highly recommend High Leys Lodge for anyone considering a stay in Te Anau!

EVERYTHING! The location, the river running by the chalet, the delicious in room breakfast service & the little Weka's greeting us at our door each morning. The lodge is in walking distance to the cruise terminal - would strongly recommend a cruise around Milford Sound one day. Dinner at Pio Pio was a special treat each night too.
