It was our last night in the fjordland area before traveling to Queenstown and ending our 2 weeks in New Zealand. We wanted to be in a remote southern location and the Cliffs was a perfect choice. The views and location to the sea was exactly what we wanted. Be sure to visit the beach nearby. Our hosts were friendly, informative and very responsive to our questions. We enjoyed meeting them very much. We have great memories of the Cliffs.

Cabot Lodge - Fiordland National Park is gelegen in Manapouri met uitzicht op de bergen en heeft een restaurant, een gedeelde keuken, bar, tuin en terras. This place is perfect in so many ways. Host meeting you on arrival - staff appear whether you wander out of your room and ask if they can assist. Amazing service. Every member of the team was perfectly polite, engaging, and responsive. They will organise anything that you want - trips across the surrounding area. One couple had a helicopter trip and it literally landed on the lawn of the place. That is defeintly the way to end a long day! Location - stunning is the word you will probably read most about this place. And it actually is. Room - we had the room with the terrace - I would book this again - as you walk straight out from your room into a courtyard which is in the shade and sun in the afternoon. This is an all-inclusive accommodation - it has to be as it is a trek from the local towns. The food was extremely good. It was never too much or too little the chief has got the balance right. At the end of the trip I left items in the room (very annoyed with myself) the owner looked after them and made sure we got them back. Everything was amazing
