A sun terrace can be found at the lodge, along with a shared lounge.

Boasting a garden, a terrace, and barbecue facilities, The Dome Waikino provides accommodation in Waikino with free WiFi and mountain views. Featuring free private parking, the lodge is in an area where guests can engage in activities such as hiking and cycling. The photos don’t quite do the room justice — it’s actually much more spacious in person. We really enjoyed the peace and greenery. The host was super friendly and even went bush to help us retrieve a lost drone!

Boasting a garden and a terrace, The Mann Homestay, Premium King Room with Private Ensuite, Near Waihi & Coromandel provides accommodation in Waihi with free WiFi and mountain views. Featuring free private parking, the lodge is in an area where guests can engage in activities such as hiking and cycling. I felt very comfortable in your accommodation; everything was new and perfectly prepared. The large glass front overlooking the pasture and the mountain range was the most beautiful feature. It’s 5 minutes to Waihi town and to Gold Discovery Center, less than 15 minutes to Karangahake Gorge, to Hauraki Heritage Train, to Waihi Beach, and Bowentown. Hobiton and the route to the Coromandel Peninsula are less than an hour's drive away. Next time I’d stay more days.

Featuring mountain views, Highland Lodge in Waikino features accommodation, a garden and a terrace.

There is a private bathroom with shower and free toiletries in each unit, along with bathrobes.

Guests at the lodge can enjoy a continental breakfast. This property is "off grid" ie no wifi and no mobile reception. We had not registered this, and had to delay our catch up with work. However once we got our heads around it, we loved it. Good for the soul.

The lodge features a flat-screen TV. The kitchenette comes with a fridge, a dishwasher and a microwave and there is shower with free toiletries and a hairdryer.

Mystery Creek Events Centre is 45 km from the lodge, while Garden Place Hamilton is 27 km away. Hamilton Airport is 35 km from the property. The bed and daybed were very comfortable. Loved the added touch of a continental breakfast being supplied. We chose this place for the scenery because there was a walk on the doorstep, it didn't disappoint. The walk by the river and through the trees is lovely it's about a 2k round trip. You can cool off in the river. We found 2 really clear shallow spots. Mary is a lovely host, and we actually could have spent the day chatting to her. We will definitely be back.
