It's very easy to get to via shared car aka colectivo. Some Spanish would definitely help, but with a sense of aventure and Google translate, you'd be fine!

Going to the forest with Mario was amazing. I saw In nature everything I wanted to see: snakes, caymans, numerous birds and parrots, slots!! They are so cute! The jungle exploration was fantastic. The same warm was welcoming by community. This is the lodge I defined advice! I was in couple places in amazon and here you really feel like you become part of amazon. But didn’t come to some commercial hotel. I like them but definitely not good choose when you want to explore the jungle! Camungo lodge in Livertad is perfect choice. And the comfort of houses was great! They are newly builded! everything is nice and super clean!

Excellent, rustic stay and our guides Christian and Segundo couldn't have been better! Very cool guys and they are legit one with nature they know EVERYTHING about the Amazon life. The lodge itself is super cool - literally in the middle of the jungle. And the food is the best part of the stay, breakfast, lunch and dinner and they make sure you're never hungry! Excellent stay, felt safe the entire time including the included transportation from the airport and back. Highly recommend Jacamar if you want to truly experience the Amazon of Peru.

The Amazon Muyuna Lodge is an ecolodge in the Tamshiyacu Tahuayo Communal Reserve , situated on the Amazon River shore, 3 hours from the centre of Iquitos. The location was amazing. Great to have so much wildlife around you. Meandering down the Amazon river each day was so relaxing and peaceful. Loved spotting all the sloths, monkeys and various birds from the boat and also when we did a trail in the jungle. Seeing an ant eater up close climbing a tree was a highlight as well as the pink dolphins. Our guide , Larissa was excellent.

Surroundings and to sit in the garden looking at the Amazon river watching the dolphins you couldn’t ask for more. Also the excursions laid on were out of an adventure novel.

Ämak Iquitos Ecolodge - All Inclusive ligt in Santa Clara en biedt accommodatie met volpension en excursies op de rivier en het regenwoud. Amazing stay! Alfredo, Leo and Carlos were all amazing as well as the rest of the staff! I was sick for 1 of the days there, and Alfredo went over and above to make sure I was okay! I can't say enough good things about the food. The rooms were lovely, and the excursions exceeded my expectations. Even without having fans, we stayed cool at night. My partner was worried that the night hikes didn't go enough into the jungle, but you could see everything from the resort ground, which is quite big. It definitely felt like a luxury resort by the way they cared for you. Thank you again to everyone at amak.
