Where should I start…? 😊 We came to Romania for a one week road trip. From Bucharest it took us almost 3 hours to reach the property. Once we arrived our jaw dropped when we witnessed the beauty of the location. Despite getting hyped in our ascension on the road seeing the mighty mountains, Vidraru dam and a couple of entertaining bears on the side of the road we still got pleasantly impressed by the view! We booked one night but it took us only 5 minutes to decide that we need to stay at least two days there. “Ishi” ( I hope that I don’t twist her name😊) made sure that we have everything we need upon arrival and she was extremely diplomatic and kind during the whole stay. It was like a dream to be there especially that we had the whole resort for us and that made us feel like royalty. ( we arrived in the beginning of June) The food was great and I was more than surprised by the traditional notes in every single dish we ordered.(keep in mind that my roots are Romanian and everything tasted like my grandmother cooked 😋) Sadly none of the other places we stayed at in the rest of our road trip came close to even match Cabana Zimbru’s per total impression, hospitality and wellbeing. Big thanks to Lulu and Teddy (the two dogs on the property) that were our “guardian angels” working day and night to keep an eye on everything that moves.

What a true gem I discovered on the go! The room was practical, tastefully decorated, and equipped with everything you could need. The highlight, however, was the location – these charming little cottages are absolutely perfect for relaxation. I really enjoyed my morning coffee in the peaceful setting, accompanied by the sweet chirping of birds. The host was exceptionally kind, helpful, and attentive, always going the extra mile to ensure a wonderful stay. Their dedication and care truly make all the difference in creating a memorable and comfortable experience.

Pensiunea Remember Me bevindt zich in Câmpulung in de regio Arges, op 45 km van Cheile Grădiștei Avonturenpark en biedt gratis WiFi, een barbecue, een tuin en gratis privéparkeren. This is a newly purpose pension made to as comfortable as home. The room is large and beautifully furnished. The bed was very comfortable and with good linen. The bathroom was even better and better than most 4-star hotels. The kitchen on the lower ground is equipped with two stoves, and there is seating for six family groups. The owner has built a small playground in a BBQ area as well. For the price, this is exceptional value. Suoer proud and friendly people. Highly recommended.
