The host, Johan, was really nice and hospitable and the location itself was lovely as it was remote and allowed us to gaze up at the aurora without light pollution getting in the way. Unfortunately I believe those were the only two reasons I was not entirely disappointed with my choice.

Tula's warm welcome and info on their reindeer, where to see the northern lights, the location was gorgeous and so quiet. We were so lucky to be there on a night of full on northern light activity. We had the glamping tent, with its wood burning stove, made it super cozy. The beds were super comfy ( slept so long We almost missed breakfast!) The buffet spread was filled with so much food and variety, we were still full at lunch. The spa and sauna were an added bonus. Everything warm and cozy.

Το Camp Caroli Wooden Cabins προσφέρει καταλύματα με δωρεάν WiFi, κήπο με βεράντα και θέα στον κήπο. We loved the location as we could easily see Northen lights on the lake, and we were close to all the key activities and highlights. Stephan was very welcoming, and the activities (Snowmobile, Dogsledding) exceeded our expectations. I would advise to rent a car in Kiruna to really make the most of the trip.

Our lake view cottage was exactly as in the pictures. Aurora Camp is in a beautiful location in the wilderness and a great spot to see the Northern Lights. Unfortunately when we stayed it was cloudy. Staff were very welcoming. Aurora camp offers the opportunity to experience sleeping in an igloo. There is no running water and the toilet / showers are communal (clean) in the main area about 200m from the main part of the camp. I used the sauna for my shower and had a snow bath - very refreshing. The drive down the road can be a little scary, so just take it easy.
