The host, Johan, was really nice and hospitable and the location itself was lovely as it was remote and allowed us to gaze up at the aurora without light pollution getting in the way. Unfortunately I believe those were the only two reasons I was not entirely disappointed with my choice.

Kitchen was super clean and had everything you need to cook a meal (there is also a supermarket nearby), the couches were comfortable, bathroom was also clean and the beds were cosy and comfy! There were electrical heaters in the rooms which were more than sufficient to heat the cottage and it had a nice little terrace. Use of the sauna and showers was also very nice, it was clean and well arranged. We had the breakfast in the main hotel and it was very good, with a great arrangement of food and drinks. After we had to check out we only had a train a few hours later but we were welcome to stay in the lounge area of the hotel, which was very comfortable and had some games! I will definitely come back here!

The property offers a magical and unforgettable experience where you can live among reindeer. We stayed in a large tent with a private toilet and felt very comfortable. In winter, you need to keep the stove burning constantly; otherwise, it can get quite cold. However, even this adds to the unique and enjoyable experience. Dinner was very satisfying in a great atmosphere.

Το Camp Caroli Wooden Cabins είναι σε Jukkasjarvi και προσφέρει δωρεάν WiFi. Επίσης, προσφέρει κήπο, βεράντα και παροχές για μπάρμπεκιου. A group of friends traveled to Kiruna (Abisko National Park just 1 hour and 30 mins away) and we were very happy with the accommodation we chose. The hosts contacted us soon after the booking and wanted to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Stefan welcomed us and the cabin was clean and warm. We enjoyed our stay there. A little bit ouside of the city, we got to experience the most amazing Northern Lights we could have ever imagined!

Our lake view cottage was exactly as in the pictures. Aurora Camp is in a beautiful location in the wilderness and a great spot to see the Northern Lights. Unfortunately when we stayed it was cloudy. Staff were very welcoming. Aurora camp offers the opportunity to experience sleeping in an igloo. There is no running water and the toilet / showers are communal (clean) in the main area about 200m from the main part of the camp. I used the sauna for my shower and had a snow bath - very refreshing. The drive down the road can be a little scary, so just take it easy.
