The decorations for his surprise birthday celebration were on point, the cake, dinner, champagne, everything was perfect. The rooms are spacious. The bed was very comfortable. We had a beautiful balcony with views of Mt Meru. Breakfast and dinner were delicious. I'd recommend their natural juice which was very good. They also have a massage and salon on site. And they had a taxi guy with reasonable rates who drove us whenever we needed transport. Overall I'd 10/10 recommend Villa Arumeru. The hospitality of the staff is unmatched.

An impressive Lodge nestled in the coffee fields of Arusha. Not only offering lovely cabins with luxurious bedding and bathrooms, but also a nice pool to dip in after a long day of safari - or work in my case. A big plus is their community work: Shanga workshop employing disabled and deaf people from around Arusha area is located on the grounds. And a zuri café called "kahawa" (Swahili for coffee;). You then totally realize you are in Africa when the breakfast has to be watched over by game keeper - because of the monkey families living on the premises. Definitively a stay to come back to!

Anitha changed a room for me, took my belongings there, and folded up my clothes while I was out. It makes me feel at home, and reminds me of my mother who often tidied up my room and folded up my clothes when i was a teenager. Appreciate it.

Also my mom and sister left a few hours earlier to Zanzibar and I could stay until my flight free of charge.
