The lodge features a terrace. It was really clean and the staff was extremely polite and helpful. Especially the manager Mando from Egypt and the breakfast lady! The breakfast was really big and delicious!

The building is a wonder and itself worth the visit. Joyce and her team were so attentive, personable, and helpful and family-style meals were excellent. Utupoa sits directly on the beach and easily reachable by foot from the village of Matemwe. What a wonderful way for our family to get to know a corner of Zanzibar and to unwind from our adventures. Located on the coast of Kiwengwa, Zanbluu Beach Hotel offers ocean and garden views. The property offers an infinity pool with views of the ocean, as well as a pool bar. Some rooms have a private swimming pool. We visited the Zanbluu beach hotel as a family. The stay was great and unproblematic from check in to check out. The food was very tasty and varied. There were always good alternatives for vegetarians or people with gluten intolerance. the drinks, especially cocktails, were delicious. The room was always clean, the house keeping staff took good care of it. Every bed is equipped with a mosquito net, which the housekeeping staff diligently rolls up and rolls down every day. But we didn't saw not even one mosquito.The facility including the pool is also very nice. The gardeners and co try very hard to make sure everything looks great. We have been to many hotels but have rarely had such a good hotel staff that makes the greatest effort with every request. The consistently friendly and courteous staff alone is one reason why this certainly won't be our last visit. Many thanks to Nickson, Abdully, Charles, Samson and the many others who made our stay so special. Hakuna matata Zanbluu Beach !

The upper floor beach front bungalows are like staying in a treehouse on the beach. The bed is huge and super comfortable. The balcony overlooking the beach has a daybed, table and a chair. You can walk straight on to the beach. Monkeys jump around in the trees directly outside the balcony. The food is amazing, and an incredible breakfast is included in the price. The beach, although wild and windy when we were there end July/beginning of August is stunning. Absolutely perfect!

I have been to many accommodations in Zanzibar, but this one was truly the most special experience for me. The peace and positive vibes I experienced there brought back 5 years of my life. The house is in a wonderful location, surrounded by dense vegetation, so you will feel a healing peace there during your entire stay. The bungalows are spacious and perfectly clean, the beds are large and comfortable, the view is stunning. The food deserves a Michelin star, the offer is varied, the ingredients are fresh every day, the portions are very generous, certainly above the price. The owner and all the staff are very accommodating, kind and ready to dedicate themselves to each guest to make them feel at home. My special thanks go to the hostess Suzy , whose helpfulness and kindness go beyond the limit and who made our stay even more beautiful. If you are planning to visit Zanzibar, do not make the mistake of not visiting this special piece of paradise. Thank you all, even though we left, a piece of my heart remained there 💓
