De Bay Harbor Lodge ligt op 20 minuten rijden van het nationaal park Everglades en 8 km van het Staatspark Pennekamp Coral Reef. De kamers van dit hotel zijn allemaal voorzien van kabel-tv. A very nice hotel offering good facilities and access to a private beach. The whole place promotes a relaxing and unrushed stay... Tamed squirrels are hopping around alongside with iguanas of various colours and sizes... super tropical and feels close to nature. The staff, particularly Jonathan, were very helpful and friendly. There's plenty of local knowledge and recommendations; I rented a push bike and had a tyre puncture (rental car) fixed on Jonathan's recommendation. Aside from all the practicalities, Bay Harbour Lodge is a little beach paradise, which is priceless.

Old Wooden Bridge Resort & Marina ligt in Big Pine Key, op 40 km van Florida Keys Aquarium Encounters en 30 km van Seven Mile Bridge. De accommodatie biedt uitzicht op de zee en gratis WiFi. We loved the aqua/boat houses on the water! Comfy beds and spacious living rooms. We booked two of the aqua lodges #3 & #6 for our week long family fishing vacation. It was a huge plus to be able to rent a boat through the Marina and to park it at our boat house. Super easy and convenient. Also a huge plus is they are dog friendly and we got to bring our dog with us! He loved walking around the island and becoming friends with the key deer. They were everywhere and it was so precious to see all the fawns walking about!! We enjoyed the quiet nights since the resort is in more of a residential area away from highway 1. Super dark at night so you can view the beautiful starry skies. We Loved our stay and hope to come back again soon! Fishing right off the bridge to No Name Key was fun as well. But my favorite was watching the sun set from the bridge and watching the sun and moon rise from our boat terrace!!

Aqua Lodges at 47th Street is gelegen in Marathon, op 5,8 km van Florida Keys Aquarium Encounters en 4,6 km van Seven Mile Bridge. Heerlijke bedden en fantastische plek om de zonsondergang te zien.

Riverfront Treetop Bungalow bevindt zich op 3,4 km van Homosassa Springs, en biedt accommodatie in Homosassa met toegang tot een terras, een restaurant, en een geldautomaat. The treehouse is a gem located in the middle of the nature of Homosassa River. We loved the Treehouse with it’s wooden equipped walls, spacious bathroom (with 2 sinks), cozy sofa and spacious veranda with grill. We sat ouside every evening barbecuing and watching the Spanish moss moving in the wind, which was very relaxing. We kayaked the Homosassa River to the Wildlife State Park (right side) and back, which was a very nice half day tour. We saw Monkey Island, many turtles and even a dolphin (!) hunting fish! We also enjoyed the 9am boat tour at River Safari with Susan.
