Comfortable, tasteful upgraded country motel. Very clean and lovely fresh furniture. Waimea was a great little town to escape the tourist trap of Kona and the run down Hilo. We wish we had spent our entire time on the Big Island here.

The staff was very supportive, we had made a mistake with the reservation, but the staff went over and beyond to ensure we could have the best possible stay, and I did make a world of difference! Great care, support and flexibility, also the structure is unique, and so beautiful it is amazing!!

A barbecue is available on site and hiking can be enjoyed within close proximity of the lodge. Very close to the beach 2 minutes walking, watched the sunrise every day. The staff was very friendly and helpful. You can borrow all kinds of things for the beach (snorkel, body boards, frisbee…) for no fee. We had the best time!
