We stayed at the Die Waenhuis cottage in the middle of the village. Inside is original, artistic and extremely well appointed. Lovely, lush veranda and garden. We could use the splash pool at the Furrows. Althea and Aubrie were great hosts. We will definitely come again.

A very warm welcome in a place where you feel like home but better! Mike and his wife were very welcoming, kind, smiling and thanked them for the care taken during our stay. Special mention for the wonderful lunch prepared by Mike, we enjoyed it!

The lodge is beautiful and very well equipped with everything you need as for example a fan for cooling and a heater and extra blankets. The lodge is equipped with a double bed, a working desk, a wardrobe, a kitchen and a bathroom. We especially liked the incredible view from the terrace. Ingrid was an amazing host, she was very caring and helpful. She booked great tours in the reserves around the area for us.

Excellent location overlooking the River. We stayed in the Kudu Room and it had such amazing views. We did the River Cruise with Dean and it was really awesome to see Water Buffalo in the river and walking through the forest. Gift also made some really fantastic meals for us and Lungi accommodated myself and my partner for massages, despite it being really late. The views from the veranda were also really amazing and my only regret was not to spend more time there. I'm actually at another place in Port Alfred right now wishing I was still at the African Safari Lodge!

Everything was beyond expectations!! It is impossible to describe how fantastic our accommodation, Pod 1, is located in the middle of nature. Our personal rangers Chad and Tiaan were super friendly and motivated, and no effort was too much for them. Their enthusiasm for and knowledge of the animals and nature was amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed the early morning and late afternoon game drives with them! Breakfast in the lodge after the morning drive and lunch and dinner brought up to the pod were superb. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Absolutely recommended, this beautiful location!!
