This place is simply amazing. The tents are super nice and clean provided with mosquito nets and air conditioning. Private bathroom as part of the tent. The staff is very friendly and you can easily connect with other people during game drive or at the camp fire. Game drives were fantastic! We have seen all the big 5 and our guides Karabo and Floyd are very knowledgeable. We also really enjoyed the food. The star is the braai (bbq) which offers options for meat lovers and vegetarians. I was surprised how good the oxtail was. The starter soups are also amazing. Vegetarian options were also available on request. Potential allergies were requested beforehand. For breakfast my favourite was the omelette, but other options are provided as well. Besides all of this you can enjoy the pool surrounded by birds between your game drives and in the night time, the sounds of the bush (yes we heard hyenas while falling asleep, but no need to worry, all is safe as a fence separates you from the wild animals!). The staff, accommodation, food and game drives were all excellent!!! We were comfortable, well looked after, and highly recommend Isambane for the price point.

Part of the Greater Kruger area, Kapama River Lodge is situated in the expansive 15,000-hectare Kapama Private Game Reserve. it was the most incredible stay I ever had! all the staff is really nice and they will do everything to help you have the best experience! Food was chef-level, big and beautiful room, amazing games with all the big 5 and more, extremely helpful guides, Lance and Godsave did everything they could to show us all we wanted to see. Restful nights, quiet and dark room at night and beautiful views in the day. You can see wildlife from the restaurant and pool area (we saw elephants, hippos, giraffes, buffalo, impalas, kudu, all from these areas).

A special experience was staying at the Lion Tree Top Lodge in the Greater Kruger Park. At night you hear the lions roar, the hyenas call and the monkeys jump on the roof and terrace of your lodge. In the morning while you are under the outdoor shower you see the impalas and springboks pass by. During the day with a nice glass of wine by the pool you see the zebras drinking from the pond nearby. And close to the resort you can see the giraffes walk. A very special experience to see all those animals pass by your lodge. In the evening we had a very nice meal around the cozy campfire in the boma together with the super sweet hosts Brian and Lynn. The lodges are beautiful and equipped with all the necessities, separated from each other by wooden paths that provide the necessary privacy. So the resort seemed all to yourself. No mass tourism here like with the accommodations in the Kruger Park. In short, a real African bush experience in this small-scale, cozy resort, which was a highlight of our road trip through South Africa, thanks in part to Brian and Lynn.

Fantastic location, beautiful small scale lodge with ultra pleasant and friendly staff. The activities were fantastic, especially the morning game walks. Being escorted by two very knowledgeable Rangers, we felt safe in the bush and immensely enjoyed the walks and all that we saw and learned these days.

Incredible stay at Mbizi, I truly recommend this place for all nature lover, you will have the bests days in your life. First, the spot is incredible, a peaceful view on the bush, with many animals that you can spot by yourself on the pool or terrasse. Seing the elephants fews meters away from you is really an incredible experience. Then the game drive in the Balule reserve is really beautiful with a lot of differents landscapes that you can admire, Bjorn , the owner of Mbizi will share is knowledge and experience with you, while spotting beautiful cats or others majestic creatures on game drive. Thanks a lot for this knowledge sharing have been able learn a lot! You can also go on a full day safari in Kruger, wich is interesting because the landscape and animals are changing from balule area. Then after a beautiful drive game, you will be able to enjoy a truly delicious food, made by his wife Divya. Each days is a different surprised with many different specialities to enjoy a very nice moment in a beautiful environment. The food is truly the same than in a first choice restaurant. Trust me I'm french 😉 My final world will be a big thanks to this beautiful lodge and teams for this amazing experience! Το Greenfire Game Lodge βρίσκεται μέσα στο Balule Game Reserve και περιβάλλεται από φύση και άγρια ζωή. Προσφέρει χώρο με θέα, τραπεζαρία και εξωτερική πισίνα. Amazing staff and location. they truly went above and beyond for their guests, and you felt like you were a family member staying at their house. We will absolutely be back at some point in the future. Also, great game viewing from the lodge and on the drives, which made the stay even better!

Situated in the Balule Nature Reserve, Muweti Bush Lodge offers the opportunity for wildlife encounters at its waterhole, where elephants and other game come to drink. This is the most beautiful place to spend time. We loved our chalet, it was a real bush life experience but it was cosy, clean and luxurious. We loved seeing the animals from our balcony and listening to them as we fell asleep. The staff are truly outstanding. We felt so taken care of. Our room was spotless and serviced every day. We were transferred to and from the airport and they even set up a special dinner to celebrate our honeymoon with Muweti bubbles! The food was delicious and it was such a treat to sit around the fire and have Hardus and Niel cook for us. They are both amazing guides and we learnt so much from them, from Valeria as well! Thank you to the whole team for making our first safari unforgettable. We will definitely be back!

Pondoro is set on the banks of the Olifants River inside the 50 000 ha Balule Private Game Reserve inside the Greater Kruger National Park (Game drive traverse 30 000 acres). To the Pondoro staff and in particular our guide Dewald and tracker Andres, thank you for the unforgettable experience! Dewald and Andres were very knowledgeable about wildlife, and we got to see the big 5 - including a leopard poised on a tree with its kill - and many other animals up close over a 4 day tour. Back at the lodge, everything from food to room had a personal touch. The kitchen did amazing breakfast (avo toast and Pondoro breakfast were our favourites) and exceptional starters, and the rooms were cleaned 2-3 times a day with a personal pick me up note each time. Truly a stellar experience!
