Offering garden views, Langa Langa Safari Camp - Inc 2 Kruger Safaris Daily in Sabi Sand Game Reserve offers accommodation, an outdoor swimming pool, a garden, a shared lounge, a terrace and a bar. The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. One of the best camps we’ve ever been. Done previously many safaris , so I can fairly compare. This place is not about artificial ( and sometimes stupid) over-luxury ; it goes straight to the point of what a great bush camp should be . Tents are very comfy, new and clean , food is above expectations, perfect location. But what makes this place very special is the staff .. they are all incredibly good and make you feel that managing and running a camp in the bush seems the easiest thing in the world ( and we know it is not)… they really deserve a “Bravo!” Safari to kruger ( 15 minutes to reach the gate) included in the rates , and also very close to Sabi sands; they arrange safari there ( try at least once) for a small extra cost . With all this next to your camp, you’ll have the chance to spot the big five and many more animals in very few days. Overall a wonderful stay for newbie and also for weathered safari guys . price/quality ratio 10 on 10… amazing ! Thank you all guys, and see you very soon again!

Featuring mountain views, Isambane Camp in Balule Game Reserve features accommodation, an outdoor swimming pool, a garden, a shared lounge, a terrace and a bar. Both WiFi and private parking are accessible at the lodge free of charge. The staff is absolutely amazing! Shayna, Emma and Angela were great hosts and guides, the staff was awesome and the Chef is GREAT! Safe and delicious place for vegans! The game drives were very nice and fun, the girls know their bush! We got to see the big five in only 2 days. The cabin was nice and cozy, even though it gets pretty hot during the day (at night it becomes bearable with the fan on). Good hot shower! The elephants in the pool are breathtaking and the highlight of this amazing place.

Kapama River Lodges offers a range of air-conditioned suites, all stylishly furnished and set against the backdrop of the Drakensberg Mountains. Each suite has a private bathroom fitted with a bath and shower and is complete with complimentary amenities, such as a minibar and coffee machine. The experience was top class from start to finish. The facilities and food were excellent - the staff were professional and great at looking after us all. But by far what made our experience so special was our driver Mary and Tracker Michael. They were the dream team who took such care and attention to show us the wonderful wildlife, share information, answer our endless questions and ensure we got to see all the big five, most of the ugly five and lots more! They are amazing at what they do and it’s thanks to them we went home so content - Kampama is a very special safari experience. I can’t recommend it highly enough

Set in Guernsey Nature Reserve, Lion Tree Top Lodge offers accommodation with a year-round outdoor pool, free WiFi, a garden and a shared lounge. The accommodation has a hot tub.

Breakfast is available, and includes buffet, continental and Full English/Irish options. At the lodge you will find a restaurant serving African cuisine. Vegetarian, dairy-free and halal options can also be requested. A special experience was staying at the Lion Tree Top Lodge in the Greater Kruger Park. At night you hear the lions roar, the hyenas call and the monkeys jump on the roof and terrace of your lodge. In the morning while you are under the outdoor shower you see the impalas and springboks pass by. During the day with a nice glass of wine by the pool you see the zebras drinking from the pond nearby. And close to the resort you can see the giraffes walk. A very special experience to see all those animals pass by your lodge. In the evening we had a very nice meal around the cozy campfire in the boma together with the super sweet hosts Brian and Lynn. The lodges are beautiful and equipped with all the necessities, separated from each other by wooden paths that provide the necessary privacy. So the resort seemed all to yourself. No mass tourism here like with the accommodations in the Kruger Park. In short, a real African bush experience in this small-scale, cozy resort, which was a highlight of our road trip through South Africa, thanks in part to Brian and Lynn.

The tented chalets situated within the main lodge area come with a deck and a seating area. Certain chalets are equipped with a bath, shower and free toiletries, while one chalet, known as chiDanga, is equipped with an en suite shower which opens onto the deck. The staff made us feel like family. Audrey, Neil, Harduus, everyone was extremely friendly and took excellent care. The food was delicious. Many elephants visited the waterhole during our stay. The game drives are thrilling and the guides very knowledgeable.

Naledi Lodges lies within the Balule Game Reserve and is located 25 km from Hoedspruit. It boasts panoramic views of the African savannah and features an outdoor swimming pool, restaurant and bar.

The units feature views of the pool or mountain and each air-conditioned unit is fitted with a safe, fan and tea-and-coffee-making facilities. Some units have a seating area and private pool. Exceeded all expectations. The staff were incredibly warm, generous and on top of everything. They made us feel extra special and we enjoyed their company. Oupa as our guide delivered every single drive. We saw the Big 5 and then some! The meals from Chef Dudu and Chef Sam were spectacular and Marice and Lillian were the best hosts. Room was spacious and beautiful and the beds very comfortable. Every need was met and I just wish we could have stayed longer!

Pondoro has three architecturally designed chalets overlooking the Olifants River. Each chalet has been beautifully decorated with an African theme. All chalets have en-suite bathrooms (with a shower and bath overlooking the river), lounge area, air-conditioning, mosquito nets and a wooden deck. Beautiful setting, overlooking the Olifants River, very peaceful. Excellent game drives, good meals, and incredibly friendly, cheerful staff. Of the 3 lodges we stayed at in Greater Kruger, this was our favorite. A small-scale operation, efficiently run. Wonderful overall feeling.
