It has a sunrise viewing area just a few mins walk and then a great walking trail right from the lodge (about an hour walk). Thank you to Martie, Ben, chef and all the team - this lodge is stunning!

We booked a full day Gamedrive in Kruger with Khululeka and we were fortunate to see the big 5 in one day! It's truly a magical and special place.

The food was excellent, the chef went to endless trouble to offer delicious and interesting meals every day. Transfers were excellent, on time and efficient. We also took the Panorama Tour which gave us a look at the fabulous scenery and geographic marvels of the area.

We got the big 5 and so much more! Staff are lovely and guides knowledgeable. I would highly recommend Umkumbe Riverside Lodge! Best Christmas morning of my 59 years.
