Το ορυχείο Zur Alten βρίσκεται 5χλμ. έξω από το Graskop. Οι επισκέπτες μπορούν να περπατήσουν γύρω από το φράγμα στους κήπους ή να περπατήσουν μέχρι το παλιό ορυχείο. Beautiful place. Unfortunately we stayed only 2 nights, we couldn't see the whole property, but we would like to come back. The accommodation is well arranged and cosy with a fire place perfect in the winter. Don't miss the breakfast, it's delicious with many local and homemade products.

From the incredible views, top class breakfast and dinner prepared by the chef, beautiful room (we were given the family room upgrade- spectacular!) and most of all kindness of the Hosts Martie and Ben who were so lovely and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. The pool is really nice, sunset views from the water and the surrounding area is great. It has a sunrise viewing area just a few mins walk and then a great walking trail right from the lodge (about an hour walk). Thank you to Martie, Ben, chef and all the team - this lodge is stunning!

Το MILIMA Big 5 Safari Lodge βρίσκεται σε Hoedspruit και είναι ένα κατάλυμα με θέα στον κήπο. What an AMAZING place. If you are searching through the many places to do your safari - stop looking and book MILIMA. It was incredible. We saw the Big 5 on multiple drives. Our guide, Sidney, was amazing. He made such an effort to find animals and listening to his stories and bush knowledge was a treat. Being an all inclusive, everything is taken care of for you (including two game drives each day) and the schedule is the same each day which is nice. All meals were excellent, and the pool is a great spot to enjoy a beer, cool off, and watch animals come and go. The staff were incredibly kind and always ready to help and take care of you. We stayed in one of the tents, and would highly recommend!

We thought we were only going to crash for a night after a long flight and before starting a safari the next day, but we were absolutely mind blown by how amazing everything was. Perfect location in the middle of what is called "Wildlife Estate" which gives you a chance to see wild animals strolling nearby (we almost saw all the same animals we saw on the safari strolling around the lodge), this is an astounding place with a beautiful room which makes you feel you're in a dream! Last but not least - Ruan and Jenny were very friendly and informative on things to do, and even gave us recommendations about Cape Town which was our next stop. For a small fee, we pre-arranged dinner (which was delicious and cooked by one of their chefs) and transfer from the Hoedspruit airport as well. Communication was easy and Ruan was very responsive. It was such a shame that we only spent one night - had we known how calm and beautiful it all was, we would have 100% extended our stay. So sad to have left but I rave about it. There couldn't have been a more perfect welcome to South Africa.
