The estate is beautiful and has zebras, giraffes, kudu and more. George and Zelda are amazing hosts. The lodge is very nice. The rooms are spacious, modern and airconditioned. Without a doubt the best location we stayed at in our 3 weeks in South Africa. We booked a full day Gamedrive in Kruger with Khululeka and we were fortunate to see the big 5 in one day! It's truly a magical and special place.

It was magical. The tents are luxurious and beautifully designed. So peaceful, surrounded by nature and next to a stream. I only wish I didn’t stay for one night, and had a few days here to fully experience.

It’s hard to pick just one thing we liked, because honestly, this was one of the best stays we’ve had in all our extensive travels. Missing out on a place like this would be a real shame, the accommodation, interior, and rooms were absolutely top-notch. The location was also perfect for visiting Kruger National Park. We absolutely loved everything about our stay at Maroelani! If it were possible to rate higher than 10, we definitely would! The staf was super friendly and thoughtfull. We had the best game drives with our guide Gert, who was very professional and told a lot of interesting facts about the nature and the animals in the reserve. We were surprised with a picknick by sunset for our anniversary, they made our favourite food, prepared a hot tub for us, … everything was absolutely perfect! We were actually sad we had to leave this place.

Everything was perfect. We got a personalized stay. Janus, help us to book 2 big 5 safaris and we were lucky to see all the animals. As well, we got a driver, Given, very good guy who always keep the car clean and a smile on his face. The food was amazing, we got one Ostrich carpaccio, amazing taste. The room was more than perfect. I can not express what a memorable experience we got. PERFECT!

All was perfect! The staff was very friendly, we thank Leandra and Danel for their help, Mateo and Robert for the beautiful game drives. The food was delicious, fresh and very abundant, the room/tent was just fabulous: clean, comfy and big. We heard hyenas and lions in the night, adding to the magical atmosphere. The pool was also amazing and one day we spotted three giraffes passing by. What an experience. We did 2 game drives per day and the spottings of animals were just great, all the big 5 plus many many more
