The tent was super comfortable with all the amenities. The location is amazing - super close to the South part of Addo Elephant Park, where if you're lucky you can even see animals in the park from the accommodation premises. It was also nice to have the pool, and you can also book a game reserve tour of Addo through them!

Cooled off in the sparkling pool and the turkish towels was fabulous. Big breakfast fit for a king and a friendly host to send us off into 2025.

Offering safari-style accommodations, this lodge is situated right on the banks of the Sundays River. The terrace decks offer far-reaching river views. This was our second time staying at Dungbettle river lodge. The property manager and owner are both very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast is really good, the room is clean, bed comfortable. Love the availability of the braai in the courtyard and the canoes to explore the rivers even though we didn’t use it this time as it was extremely cold outside. The views from our room and the breakfast porch are spectacular. Dungbettle will remain part of our future travel through the area.

Featuring outdoor, rock waterfall showers, all Elephants Footprint Lodge rooms overlook the pool and garden. Our room at the Elephants Footprint Lodge was very comfortable, beautifully decorated and good equipped. Supportive and friendly staff. Breakfast is amazing. Fresh products and delicious preparation. We would definitely recommend it and come back.
