Each room and chalet at Garden Route Game Lodge offers either views of the mountains or the valley. They are elegantly decorated with thatched roofs and wooden furniture. All of them have TVs with digital channels and a safe. This stay was unplanned and booked last minute. And we didn´t regret it! Tasty food, great wine and a lodge with a view over the game farm. The 2 game tours (evening and morning) ,included into the room rate, are fascinating. We saw all big 5, except leopard, but therefore Cheetahs on the hunt.

Riverside Guest Lodge offers panoramic views of Grobbelaars River and Swartberg Mountains. It offers air-conditioned rooms and wooden cottages. There is a main deck with a splash pool, a bar, and a barbecue. Absolutely stunning! Couldn’t have asked for more. Every little detail is thought about. What incredible hosts.

Everything is tip top, the beautiful location, the super room and the excellent food.

The possibility to have self-catering and the option with a restaurant is great. The cottage is charming, well equipped, and nice decor. Good communication pre and during the stay. The highlight was the amazing sky with all the stars.
