What a fabulous place! A large property with plenty of trees, plants and flowers scattered in a beautifully-tended park where you can walk and relax any time of the day. The central building is architecturally inspiring and stylishly furnished: it is the heart of the property with a comfortable dining room and a lovely bar where you can meet other guests, chat over a drink and enjoy delicious, well-prepared food. Our room was large, with a pleasant terrace, spotless clean and most comfortable, offering all the amenities we are used to at home. Indeed, we immediately felt at home, in a friendly environment going far, far beyond our expectations. The great secret of The Musketeers Lodge is that it has a vibrant soul: Liz and her staff were just fantastic, all so helpful and ready to go the extra mile to meet your expectations. Staying at The Musketeers Lodge and meeting you all was a true blessing and we'll never thank you enough for this. Thanks also, Liz, for the lift into the city, your always instructive, delightful company and precious contribution - with Tendayi and Godfrey - to our trip to Great Zimbabwe, Serima Mission and the Italian Chapel of Saint Francis of Assisi in Masvingo.
