Loved the look of the place and quiet location, and it’s not too far from the highway. We enjoyed being able to wander around the large garden with the many birds coming in for food and water. Able to have a relaxing swim in their pool and just enjoy the environment. The accommodation was very comfortable and contained everything that you would need. Breakfast food was in the fridge for cooking ourselves the next morning and it certainly was a hearty helping. The added bonus was that Gavin cooked us a beautiful dinner, spaghetti bolognese for the hubby and chicken salad for me both very delicious and it meant we didn’t have to venture out looking for food. Gavin was a very nice friendly host as was his partner.

Fantastic location up in the mountain. Fantastic views over the trees across to the sea. Comfortable accomodation. Thoughtful touches like a name board on the lane to the cabin and the complimentary wine and chocolates. We were quite happy to sit on the balcony all day and relax and take it all in. Able to completely switch off.

The warm welcome and the fabulous homemade breakfast. We only met Sharon, but she ist a very nice person who cares about her guests a lot.

We stayed just one night on the way up the coast but it was very relaxing. The hosts are friendly and have a wealth of knowledge about the town and wider area- all their recommendations were spot on! The breakfast (included) was superb. The location is walkable to everywhere in town. Thank you!

A lot of thought has been put into providing guests with a comfortable stay. Lovely location surrounded by nature. Has own swimming hole on river however current quite strong on our visit. Was nice to sit in shallow rapids though.
