What a unique place to stay! The house dates from the 15th century and is literally on postcards of Dinan. The owners, Alina and Dominique, were wonderful, friendly hosts who brought us a delicious breakfast every morning and gave us plenty of tips on what to do in the area. They also happen to own Epicerie Fine Saint-Yves downstairs (which is where you should check in) and give all guests a discount on products. The bed was very comfortable, and it was a pleasure to wake up every morning in a historic neighborhood. The location is very central, within walking distance of many shops and restaurants. (Tip if you have a rental car: the designated parking lot for guests is P0 at the Parking Centre Historique on Rue Victor Basch; we accidentally went to P1 at first, which is always full.)

The family owned hotel exceeded our expectations. The family was very helpful. The room was looking at the English garden and furnished with excepcional taste. We were supplied a member ship card to the nearest car park. Breakfasts were really delicious. Location was ideal. We recommend the facilities to everyone.

The position is very central, in the hearth of old historical center, called “Intra muros”, near the walls on which you can walk enjoying the view of the sea and the beaches. Really, the building of Accrochecoeur is not so easy to find because it’s an historical building, perfectly inserted in the context of old houses and streets. But, when you find it, it’s like a treasure: the owner, Xavier, is a perfect host. He is wellcoming, kind and polite: he gives you thousands of informations useful and helpful, also for restaurants. It is known that in “Intra muros” is diffiicult to park. But, if you look for and find a place, it became easy and cheap: you pay at the public column. To go to the room, you must use spiral stairs: there’s no other way. You must also know that check-in and check-out hours are particular and different from others: the Accrochecoeur is not an hotel with reception, open 24/24. You can ask everything to Xavier but only at scheduled times because he is not always there. We didn’t have our breakfast there but Xavier insiste to give us every day two croissants and they were good and fresh, daily made. Finally, a perfect stay.
