The view was beautiful, the theme of the room was lovely, the location was great- not too far from the pub, not too far from some nice walks. The bed was so super comfortable! Everything was 10/10 and I’d stay again.

The house is completely renovated, very spacious, has a well-equipped kitchen and spacious bathrooms with continental faucets, pleasant seating in the garden and in the large dining room. The dishwasher and washing machine only underlined the amenities of the house. The house is within walking distance of the town centre. The hostess responded promptly to our inquiries. Overall, I can only recommend this accommodation and we will definitely stay at this house again on our next trip.

The house felt very homely. It was very convenient for popping into Stockbridge to visit family. The owner was very helpful and always there if needed. Would definitely recommend and will be staying again.

We had a wonderful weekend stay at The Old Cookhouse, blessed with very nice weather. It’s a very quiet and peaceful location which we liked and there are walks you can take right next to the property. The bungalow was very inviting the minute we walked through the door. It was extremely clean everywhere. The double bed was very comfortable, also the sofa’s in the lounge. The kitchen was lovely and bright and very well equipped. The water pressure is excellent everywhere! Good Wi-Fi too! We wanted to explore Winchester and found the park and ride nearby easy to find and use. It drops you at a central point very close to the Tourist Information shop. Winchester is wonderful and full of history, well worth a visit, as is the surrounding area. With The Old Cook House being the perfect place to stay and us with a lot more to explore, we will be back! Thank you Tanya and Phil for your nice welcome and well done for your hard work on converting your property into a top class self catering stay.

The cottage is beautiful and exceptionally well furnished. It has a fabulous tiered garden. There are several sitting areas, including one adjacent to the river. David and Deepti are welcoming and helpful hosts. The fresh fruit on arrival was a lovely touch. The cottage is only a short walk to the Cathedral and shopping area. It was a bonus to have a parking space, however, a multi storey car park is extremely close so if bringing multiple vehicles this cottage is a good choice.
