Wow, just wow! Staff so helpful, lovely and generally fabulous. We needed a late check-in due to an incoming ferry from Tiree - no problems at all. Waited up for us and very attentive. Breakfast was just amazing. Everything was exceptional. Plus the location is superb. We will definitely be back!

Our stay at Invercreran was absolutely lovely. Our hosts were extremely accommodating and hospitable; we enjoyed our little chats with them at breakfast. The place itself was a luxury, from the beds to the bathroom toiletries. We also loved how the place was lived in, it felt like each item in there had a bit of story and history. We really enjoyed the stay at Invercreran and hope to come back one day!

Rooms and facilities were unbelievably clean. View from room was amazing, the bathroom was exceptionally luxurious and also had a great view. Hosts left continental breakfast out ahead of my 5.45am departure for ferry, greatly appreciated.

It had an amazing few. We had a suite and it was meticulously clean. The standard in the bedroom was exceptional. The bed was extremely comfortable. We had a sauna in the room. The breakfast was delicious and the hosts were very welcoming.

We liked everything about the house. The owner was very helpful and available if we needed anything. After a day of walking it was lovely to come back cook some food (or get a takeaway) and settle down in front of the wood burner and watch some to tv. It was also easy to walk into Oban. Great holiday, will definitely be coming back.

Melfort Village is set in a lochside location, 24 km from Oban. Furnace is 23 km away. The units include a dining/seating area with a satellite flat-screen TV.

We had a fabulous 5 night stay at Melfort village. The accommodation was very well equipped and they even offer extra equipment such as slow cookers. It's quiet and in a beautiful location. They called us the week before to make sure we brought everything we needed with us as the nearest supermarket is 30 minutes away in Oban. We also booked massages for our last day - highly recommended! I would recommend Melfort Village for a quiet, secluded, self catering break.

Beautiful location overlooking a stunning vista of a loch and ranges. Best breakfast i had in Scotland with home made bread, jam, yogurt and the best smoked salmon I have ever had. You have your own loungeroom and dining table looking out to that stunning view. Bedrooms were well appointed and large. It was nice to go and visit their piglets and goats outside. They provide and fabulous book with a list of itineraries across the days and there is plenty to do. Location is fantastic just nearby to Oban, plenty of castles around to visit without the tourists around. Great drive out to Glen Coe and back. I really couldn't recommend this place more
