Magnificent stay in this charming ryokan. From the irori and lit torches greeting us at the entrance, to the sumptuous kaiseki meal and lovely onsen, everything was perfectly traditional and inspiring.

We had an excellent stay, food and presentations were exquisite. We admired the thought that went into presenting food in dishes that are compatible with the “mood” of the food. Only 5 minutes walk to the lift. Staff were professional, rooms were comfortable and clean. We really enjoyed our stay.

    The service was outstanding, this was our first time at a Ryokan and the staff couldn't have been any more helpful. We had to get a little help with the yukata but again the staff were so helpful and patient. Worth the price 100%

    Staff friendly and well trained .. the 3pm advertised room entry is a little late even though we were given a room at 2pm .. the onsens were superb

    Our stay at Hayamakan was wonderful. The staff were outstanding, and made the experience even better. Our room was stunning, the onsen facilities were lovely, and the food was absolutely amazing. The staff were so friendly and accommodating, explaining each course/dish for us, and we felt so looked after throughout our stay.
