I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Cape House, and it was a truly fantastic experience. The service was exceptional, and our stay was nothing short of perfect. A special mention must go to the manager, Eranda. He is one of the kindest and most inventive managers I’ve ever encountered at a hotel. His attention to detail and genuine care for guests made our stay incredibly enjoyable. He was especially wonderful with my son, making him feel welcome and special throughout our visit. I highly recommend the Cape House to anyone looking for a remarkable place to stay. The combination of outstanding service, comfortable accommodations, and Eranda’s exceptional management truly sets this place apart. Everything was perfect. This is the best hotel we have ever been to and I actually didn’t want to leave. We stayed for two nights in a Suite. The weather was really nice, the views were breathtaking. The hotel had the best staff I have ever met. It is a seven star hotel in my opinion. We had their lunch and dinner bott twice and the food was some of the best we’ve had. Lunch was $20/person and dinner was $25/person. Very good price, there was a LOT of food. Different menu every time and options! The pool was lovely also. There is a couple of nice sights you can also visit.

Magical peaceful space set about 2k from the city of Ella, with a short tuck tuck ride to the city centre. A family run business who was so kind and nice. A big, healthy breakfast. A large double room with a big private balcony. Really comfortable bed. Would highly recommend for people who don't want to be in the madness and loudness of Ella. The owner arranged everything for us. He even recommended a lovely restaurant and dropped us to the door.

Loved everything! Room was incredible, views like nothing else, delighted to have a bed that could roll onto the balcony and a hammock for relaxation. Spa was beautiful with serene views and reasonably priced (it was cheaper than the place we went to in town!). Restaurant staff were lovely. If the sights of Ella weren't so fantastic, we would have happily spent every second in this room.

The staff was really nice and helped us a lot! The cooking class is highly recommended. It's surprising to see the kitchen look a little familiar here. There's nothing not to like about vegetarian options. They give us budget taxi service.

The setting is marvellous. The staff cold not be more friendly, helpful and customer oriented. The cuisine is excellent. And the chef even went the extra mile to cook for us Sri Lankan delicacies, which were not on the menu.
