The Timber House is a gem in the Thamel district! It is nicely located close to many places of interest, shops, and cafés. It has its own unique style and great jacuzzi bathtubs in the rooms. It also has a small but cozy balcony and a gorgeous rooftop restaurant. The staff was very helpful and polite, especially Ram Prasad, the front desk supervisor, who always provided us with useful information, which was especially important during the days of protests. They took all the necessary precautions to keep the hotel safe during the unrest.

I have stayed twice at the Maya Manor which stands out for the high quality of decor and facilities in the public areas and the high standard of the bedrooms. The personal service from the friendly staff is top shelf -at the front desk and guest services particularly with Nabina who arranged flights and assisted with my travel plans and Purnima and her team in the restaurant with best quality food and service.

We had five unforgettable days in this beautiful hotel. We didn't miss anything, we were impressed by the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff. We would particularly like to highlight the extensive breakfast buffet. Another highlight was the Patio Bar, where we enjoyed the food and the good local beer.
