We have traveled a lot, but this villa really exceeded our expectations - at a fair price. Beautiful location with wonderful views to the ocean and the mountains. Spotlessly clean especially given the large size of house and garden. Except from A/C (the lack of which is clearly advertised), all amenities are there, including a fantastically equipped kitchen (finally a house with enough plates, glasses, pots, pans and cuttlery!), a bbq & wood-fired pizza oven, all types of kitchen machines, a washer and dryer, sufficient and comfy towels, swimming towels, robes & slippers, etc. The pool is nice-size and clean, the garden very well-maintained. Several spaces to hang out, lounge and relax, with dozens of comfy cushions. Special shout-out to the beautiful, comfortable outdoor eating space. Beds and pillows are AMAZING, and during the night there's a nice, cooling breeze. Bathrooms, although a tiny bit outdated, are clean and comfortable with enough water pressure. Nice sound system. We were welcomed like nowhere else: we could drop off our luggage before check-in time, there was a welcome basket and even fresh flowers! Communication throughout was swift and friendly, we signaled a minor issue and it was picked up immediately. This house is truly managed and maintained at highest standards. Congratulations to the team! If you are looking for a relaxing holiday with a large size group (we were 8p), don't hesitate to book this house.

We spent 3 nights and had a wonderful stay — it exceeded our expectations. The villa is in perfect, brand-new condition, with superb design and stunning views. Many thanks to the owners for their care and for organizing everything so well. Towels, robes, appliances, and even groceries in the fridge and wine on the shelf — everything was ready for our arrival and at our disposal. We are truly impressed.

Cezario met us to hand over the keys even though our flight wasnt in til nearly 1am so great service provided Cezario was a great host he even offered to take us shopping as we didnt have a car .. and arranged with a friend to take us on a tour of the island who was also very helpful . Pictures of the property are very accurate and great space inside and out for families. Lovely views from the balconies . Very quiet at night ..Also accommodated us with a late check out which we really appreciated .

I absolutely loved my stay at the villa. The space was generous and comfortable throughout, making it easy to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The outside area was a real highlight – beautifully designed with both sunny spots and shaded areas, perfect for any time of day. The pool was fantastic – clean, inviting, and a great place to cool off. Altogether, the combination of comfort, space, and outdoor living made for a truly enjoyable experience.

It really suited our needs, every room was a good size and a great deal of thought has been put into making it very much a home with lots of unique features. The pool area and view was just spectacular and the inclusion of the herb garden made a real difference to our evening cuisine. The location is very good. Ten minutes drive to Funchal centre or 5 euros by Uber. We would definitely recommend.

In the Sao Martinho district of Funchal, close to Formosa Beach, Madeira Mar - Seaview has barbecue facilities and a washing machine.

The property was beautiful inside, very spacious, great facilities (including washing machine) and a very generous balcony too. The pool up top was great too, great views from there. Stefan was very accomodating in helping us from the airport and back to the airport which was great. We arrived before the apartment was ready so he let us drop our stuff and then drove us to town to explore while we waited. The beach was a very short drive away and was lovely, definitely worth visiting.. by car! The bus was very easy to navigate, only 2EUR for an adult to get to town and the bus is very regular and even goes until 23:00hrs! If you dont have a car you should definitely visit a supermarket on your first day to get supplies, the apartment has amazing facilities to cook too - plus a huge fridge and freezer. We also had our baby with us and they provided a stroller, high chair & cot free of charge!
